Topic: What Djokovic needs to do in 2012

Just look at what Federer did in 2005, following up his first "big" season. He successfully defended:

Dubai, IW, Miami, Hamburg, Halle, Wimbledon, US Open

So far Djokovic has only defended the AO. He is still defending 7 more titles(Miami, Serbia, Madrid, Rome, Wimbledon, Canada, US Open). If he can defend all of these titles then he can say he did better then Federer's 2005 season.

I thought Fed's 2006 was even more impressive....it gets tougher doing it the second time.. ...but if Nole wins the french, he will have won the GS and that is very impressive in its own right.

Falcon - Fed's 2006 was on a whole 'nother level of legend. Djokovic has to have a huge 2012 to even have a shot at his 2013 equaling Roger's 2006.

here we go again. What Fed did in 2006 and what Nole did in 2011 is absolutely amazing. however (again and again), Novak had to fight Nadal, Rog, Murray etc. it was a very tough task. I still think that Rog had very little competition back in 2006. Djokovic had to climb Mount Everest in order to win what he won last year.
