Even now with how well Nadal is playing he gets knocked out of tournaments early.
I don't even know if he can accomplish a less than double digits defeats for the year.
He never made all the finals of majors in one year, this shows dominance.
I could go on for pages, better to compare Nadal to the second tier players for now. 

A better guage would be performance starting with the first slam, this is when a player comes into his best play.

I don't know what's happening in tennis anymore. It's not one of the coolest sports anymore. It seems tennis itself has taken a step back and now it's all about who's the GOAT. The integrity of tennis is not there anymore unfortunately. Even though I gave my opinions here, I just can't be bothered with these sorts of polls. I would be happy with that - if it happened.  But you never know about predicting what will happen in the 'future'.

It strictly depends on his unique performance; no doubt he is capable of showing some good moves. But it’s true nobody can ever predict in this game.

The truth of the matter is, Nadal shouldn't be compared to either Sampras or Federer at this point. You have to wait until his career is near the end or ended, because you don't know how things will turn out in the end. The world we live in is a funny one, and the way it works is even funnier than that. He may not win another slam or he may win many but until it ends, we won't know and even though he has achieved a lot already, doesn't mean he's in the same category as both Sampras and Federer, as they have achieved so much more. Federer's career hasn't even ended yet and he might win a couple of more. Where would that put him? With having so many possible scenarios in hand, one would be quite the fool to predict the future. And past is not always a great indication of the future.

Indeed. Federer could very well get stuck at 16 slams. Some people think he is done winning slams because of what they saw in his game during 2010.
