Raonic is trying to 'wake up' after losing the first set against Montanes.  It will be interesting to see how he progress on the clay this year.  I don't think he's going to do that great, but we will see.

A lot of the problem these big hitters face is that they rely on their favorite shot to end points quickly. In this case, it the Raonic FH. By the time the ball comes back a couple of times they are out of position.

Raonic really has a North American game - big serve, big FH, BH is a liability. That being said, to his credit, he still trains in Spain part-time and his coach is Galo Blanco. Unlike Americans, he's serious about improving his game on this surface.

I'm very disappointed with Raonic losing to Montanes. I didn't see the match. Montanes is a very good clay player but still, Raonic should know better. And here we go again with all of these youngsters (Raonic, Tomic, Dimitrov etc) .... they all mediocre.

youngsters are crap......dolgopolov is good but is playing in a wrong era, he's very much a 90s player.......tomic will be interesting on grass......dimitrov is garbage, i don't get why people get excited about him......he's hardly even won 10 matches at the ATP level......

I'm disappointed with the defeat of Granollers to Benneteau. I thought the Granollers would win this game.

I thought Verdasco would be easier to beat Rochus. Unexpectedly it was a game of three sets, while Verdasco is more skilled than Rochus.
