i felt rog played a good match..he can't have 6-0 or 6-1 everytime..& remember carlos berlocq isn't some qualifier..He's fav. surface is Clay & he is the world no. 38..there will be some resistance from a top 50 guy..
Rog was nice & aggressive yesterday & i hope his forehand continues to work that way throught this tournament..:) :lmao:

Monaco gets the 1st set..6-4.:)
some great rallies between nole & pico..monaco's hitting the ball very cleanly..reminds me of nalbandian..

djokovic breaks the racquet..not good..:sleep:

there's a 85-90% chance that this will go to 3rd set..it'll be interesting to see monaco's reaction in the 2nd set..
i assume he'll be looking for a revenge for the loss at miami SF's.. :)

Back to the blue clay/red clay controversy for a moment :

I found that the blue clay made for much better TV images...
But apparently, it also has to do with the time of day, and camera positioning.

I watched part of the FED-Berloq match on Tennis channel HD, and the ball was almost invisible, sometimes it looked
like to players just flailing around with their rackets.
Then I watched some of the Berdych-Kubot match, and it was much better, ball was clearly visible..

I just watched the Gasquet / Murray match.  I love Gasquet's game. Congratulations to him for getting through. I had this match as a straight sets win for Murray, & was pleased to see a better contest than that. Poor Murray just isn't getting any momentum these days. I hope he'll do better next time.

Glad to see Ferrer through. I like his energy & quiet determination.  And Berdych continues on, in fine form.

Djokovic was never going to lose against Monaco, but it was good to see Monaco give it his best shot. I enjoyed this match.

As for poor Granollers, he was just completely out of his league here. Nadal's confidence is sky high. I think he can feel the trophy in his hands.  Who, I wonder can / will take it from him this year?  The silence echo's loud & clear.

my pick : delpo in 2tight sets or in 3 sets
federer in 1 tight set & 1 easy..in all, a straight set win for rog.:)

Djokovic played his usual sh!t in early rounds. Kudos to Pico tho. very windy, tough conditions but Djoko always finds the way.

just watching, Wawa vs. Seppi, great match so far
