OK, I sacrificed size for quality.
I think the pics look better, agreed?
http://www.tennis4you.com/forum/index.php?topic=4318.msg504591#msg504591The change had to do with lighting and, I possibly, the setting I had it on, "Easy," a setting I've never used before. Regardless of the setting, the lighting was extremely difficult. For the most part, it was sunny and cloudless, and I was inside metalic roofed stadiums that threw off a lot of glare. From where I was taking pictures in the bright sunshine, I often was shooting players standing in semi-to-deep shadows. Just really difficult conditions for my camera. The one day I went to the outer courts, the conditions were very overcast, so the lighting was poor there, as well. My camera just doesn't do well in challenging light conditions regardless of the setting. And night matches, forgettaboutit! I was lucky to get a couple of decent snaps of Fed and Raonic.
Look at the shadows in this picture. I was sitting in conditions similar to that where Dolgo is standing often shooting into shadows from bright sunshine. The quality of this picture is better because Dolgo was standing in the sunshine. Just not a very exciting pic.

Compare to this, same court, same day, same seat, but Delpo is standing in deep shadow.

Ideal conditions. Right sunshine, no shadows, no glare from a metalic roof.
