OK... The French Open needs to renovate.  The AO has multiple covered courts/and lights; You can play at night at the US Open; Wimbledon has a roof on center court so you can play that match into the night.  What does the French Open have?  No roofs; no lights.... this tournament needs to get with the times!!!!!!

agreed !
In the absence of light, darkness prevails!

I agree with you guys. I think they need atleast 3 courts with lights.

Federer didnt look that good so far in the tournament. He needs to up his game for the next match between Delpo/Berdych.

Djokovic was lucky to get through his match. I dont remember him seeing struggling that much recently. Lots of unforced errors.

It will be interesting to see if there will be any improvements to their games in the quarterfinals.

I would guess that the suspended matches would be the first matches tomorrow.

Yeah, my boy DelPo shows some form not seen in a long time and he gets shut down till tomorrow.

I checked the schedule and both suspended matches will start after the first match tomorrow, I guess to give some time to rest.

On another note: Fed and Djokovic better pick it up or it's over, right now Nadal is licking his chops and will walk all over anyone.

Yup, Rafa will shut them down with ease, if they dont pick it up.

agree with both of you. Rafa will eat them both alive. I have no clue ... it's like I haven't seen Nole playing so bad in ages. I mean, ok, Seppi is a decent player on clay but it's freaking Seppi. then, Roger with this guy, what is his name, something G (OK, too lazy to check it out)... just another disaster ... oh well

Do you guys think that Murray vs Gasquet will be a 5 setter? I wont be surprised if it does.

It will be interesting to see if DelPo will be able to finish off Berdych tomorrow.

I wonder who Roger would like to play. DelPotro was up 2 sets to 1 in 2009 semis against fed, but some how fed was able to win it.
After DelPo came back from injury though, fed was able to play well and beat him many times.

On the other hand, Berdych was so close to beating Federer in a few matches lately, including the madrid final.

If Fed doesnt pickup his game, it will be tough to face either one of them.

Murray beats Gas in three and goes on to the biggest upset of his career, i.e. defeating Nadal.

if we did a little logic, (Federer) U (Anything BUT Nadal) implies (I am content.)

DelPo showed some great confidence off both wings, that third set was the best he's played since coming back... Confidence I could feel at my keyboard.

I think the question is if the break will take his confidence away. There is too much time to review strategies, calm down and analyse the game. Tomorrow will be another game.

Hi Glenn.

Yep, no telling how either of those players will perform.

Agreed. Break in play can change a lot of things.

We will have to wait and see how things transform.

I would like to see Delpo get back to his top form. I feel like he is mentally stronger player than Berdych. Thomas has the game, but can fade away easily if he gets tight.

Del Potro should withdraw now as the pain can clearly show on his face.....

Negative.

It is very clear on his face when he try to hit backhand at the beginning of the match. Maybe he overcame this pain mentally.
