Day 8 of Roland garros was the most exciting day for me so far in this RG...
Nole extended to 5setter..poor seppi....i felt Nole played too bad..if he continues to scrape like this, i won't be surprised if he's not able to reach the finals..Kudos to Seppi..

Regarding Fed, he seems to be playing Decently( even if he's been playing 3 continuous 4 setter matches )..i really liked the way Goffin played..reminded me of Davydenko..Kudos to Goffin as well.

Berdych & delpotro played some Brilliant tennis..will be looking forward to it today..( 2nd match on langlen)

Tsonga & Wawrinka are going in the same direction as they went in 2011..only this time, Tsonga seems to be winning in the 5th set..( 2nd match on chatrier)

Rafa is totally unstoppable..i am not expecting anythin from monaco, but i hope he makes a Dent in nadal's armour..

Murray vs Gasquet :  if murray doesn't experience any more back problems, it will be murray in 4 tights sets or in 5 sets for me..

Almagro vs tipsarevic : i am surprised they've never played against each other before..Almagro in 4 for me..:)

Cold and raining in Paris.  The weather there is so similar to Chicago's, where this week we went from 74F to 97F to 48F and flooding. It's really not realistic to move RG ahead in the year to make room for a grass court season.

Tsonga beats Wawrinka in 5 sets.

Stan had the chance in 5th, but Tsonga took risks creating match point on Stan's serve on 5-4. Overall it was awesome match, better luck next time for Stan  ;-()

Del Potro and Berdych are still battling. Berdych has chance to break back.

6 of 8 Quarterfinalists are set !!

Djokovic vs Tsonga
Federer vs Delpotro
Ferrer vs Murray or Gasquet
Almagro vs Nadal or Monaco.. :)

the match between tsonga & stanislas was entertaining even though it lasted only for 15-20 minutes..

I think the discussion with the referee, and the episode before he served might have taken Berdych's focus. The mental strenght is one of the many qualities that make DelPo a more suitable rival for Fed. I hope he can keep up with his game.

Delpo having a grood mental strength ??

he argued against the chair umpire at 2012 indian wells QF in the first set ( i think in the 1st game)..he lost pretty badly to fed that day..

Roger didn't particularly play that great in 2009 but he won the tournament; on the other hand, I've seen him play great in early rounds at other tournaments only to lose in the final.  So I'm taking it one match at a time.

I see all the talk but one player is also playing great and no one is talking about him: Ferrer!!!!

I'm not saying he doesn't get pissed off or that he never loses control. I'm just saying that injured, playing 4 setter matches, matches with breaks in the middle, it doesn't matter. He is playing really well, and i think without mental strengh you can't do that.

That is if he wins against Tsonga, which is no easy task, especially coming out of a five set match. But let's see. Delpotro, however, looks a little tired and he is even injured, so I dont think Roger will have as much of a trouble as he did in the Quarters of 2009.
