honest to God, this scheduling thing at RG is just beyond me ... we have 6 times RG champ Nadal playing on S. Lenglen and #1 Djokovic playing on Lenglen ... while they are scheduling some women I've never heard of  (Sloane vs some Mathilda, wtf) on Chartier, this is so retarded ....

the main reason for Sloane Stephens vs Mathilde Johansson on chatrier is because johansson is from France..however, in my opinion, its not a match worthy to be scheduled at Chatrier..probably Court 1 or so..
& i can't believe they put stosur vs petrova & delpotro vs cilic on court 1!! :confused1: :)

my friend, call me stupid, I just don't get it. Yeah, I know they have to schedule women but who is going to show up? I don't want to be cynical, I have no even freaking clue who these girls are ... call me ignorant, but putting both Djokovic and Nadal on Lenglen is just so stupid. we are talking about 2 the best  players in the world.

Mathilde Johansson is the only French woman left in the draw.  It's no surprise at all that they schedule it on Chatrier.  On an unrelated note, Stephens is also the only teenager left in the draw (there were only two in the second round!).

I am not sure that this match being scheduled on Chatrier is the cause of Nadal and Djokovic playing on Lenglen.  I doubt the two are related.  At the French, no top seed plays on Chatrier throughout as far as I know.  They usually play at least one time on Lenglen.

I couldn't care less if she is French or from Mars. Never heard of her, don't care ... is she going to win RG? do I want to watch that match, NO? OK, I'm very cranky  these days   :innocent:. I do not believe in this nationality thing at all. Djokovic and Nadal are multiple GS champions, tennis stars, and this Mathilda chick (or whatever her name is) is a nobody to me. really don't want to brag about this too much, but where is Fed today?  :innocent: . has he ever played on Langlen? I'll just shut up.

People just do not like djoper, he has no fan base [serbs do not count] and Lenglen is just fine for him...

do not worry about lack of love for djoper, he can go to final by playing on court 18. and then win it on main stage....[ if your serbian pride is at stake then that has nothing to do with tennis]

ps
1st round Fed was at Lenglen [and nobody seems to mind.....]

Alk, maybe I over reacted. I wasn't actually aware that Fed was on Lenglen to be honest with you.  call me stupid.  I just can not stand the whole WTA mess nowadays. disagree with you about his fan base tho. I'm Canadian. I post on MTF too, he does have fans from all over the world. Is he as popular as Roger, of course not. it's all subjective. There are many of us (not on this board tho) who started cheering for Nole back in 2006 when Novak was just a young talented dude. I like goofy people, and back than he was just a young goofy guy, and I fell in love.

Mahut - Fed 1 set all.  LET'S GO MAHUT!
I was at this casino minding my own business, and this guy came up to me and said, "You're gonna have to move, you're blocking a fire exit." As though if there was a fire, I wasn't gonna run. If you're flammible and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit.  - Mitch Hedberg
