the only thing I really wonder is, what so special about that watch ... 375K, that's just in sane. why would anybody spend that kind of money for a stupid watch, just beyond me. you have a cell phone, and you can see time it is... or, you can get a pretty good quality watch for around $100 or so. OK, watch specialists please teach me  :)>>>>.

OK, just saying ...

'Hotel barman stole Nadal's watch' :)

PARIS police have recovered a 300,000 euro ($377,000) watch stolen from Rafael Nadal and arrested a hotel employee over the theft.

The source said police tracked down the presumed thief, a hotel barman, on Tuesday after tracing his hotel access badge, which was used to access the room in which Nadal stayed with his parents during the French Open.

He confessed to having entered Nadal's room and taken the luxury watch, and brought police to the spot where he had hidden it along a railway track near his home in the Essonne area south of Paris, a police source said.

French media reported that luxury watchmaker Richard Mille had lent Nadal the watch for the French Open, which the Spanish tennis sensation won for a record seventh time on Monday, beating Serbia's Novak Djokovic

You can ignore reality, but you can't ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.

even i never understood such possessions and obsession for such possessions.......300 thousand euros for a wrist watch is just nonsense........fed too wore a costly rolex watch once.......i think the players are forced to wear them some times.......i don't think rafa or fed would be so obsessed with such things.......

btw good updates from ashwin on the recovery of the watch.......  :rofl_2:

Marian Vajda to Novak Djokovic, "I saw you beat that man like I never saw no man get beat before, and the man KEPT COMING AFTER YOU! Now we don't need no man like that in our lives."

i demand french open to be renamed RAFAEL GARROS

It was obviously a joke. Nobody right in that moment (on the photo) would try to pull of a theft, especially considering they are part of his team and relatives.
