On Serena. That final game lasted 22:59. Ferrer took the first set off Youhzny in 20 minutes.

One of my girls--Errani or Kerber--is guaranteed a spot in the semis. Both of Dallas's girls are guaranteed a spot an extra week of shopping. 2 weeks for Serena.

For me, Maria has become an endearing figure much like Jimmy Connors became in his old age. She's really been through a lot, either injury or her comeback which saw her take some really bad beatings. And now she's just a final appearance away from from reclaiming the #1 spot.

i just don't think sharapova deserves to win the french open.......forget about career grandslam.......i don't want her to win........

:rofl_2: I'm with you - unfortunately - all her "strong opponents" are dropping like flies! :rofl_2:  There is hardly no one else left that can beat her.  Chris must be a happy man right now.

sharapova v. kanapi. Was boring with all the breaks. Now Sharapova proving too strong. Sharapova will be in the semis it seems.  :(

I like Kanepi. Too bad she couldn't put up any resistance against Maria. I don't understand why her results aren't better...well, having watched the Wozniacki match, I guess that says it all.

Sara Errani is carrying the flag! Brava!

kvittyGOAT needs to play for 1 hour at her GOAT level and sharapova is screaming for a taxi in florida airport already.......surely kvitty or errani will take her out.......she is a pathetic mover on this surface and an annoying screamer.......

Kudos to Errani! I wouldn't mind if she won this and the doubles. That would be a nice story.

Stosur... mental midget?  She had a nice run tho... made the semis. I didn't expect her to do that.

kvittova was downright horrible from start to finish.......she hardly middled 5 forehands through out the match.......pathetic result.......i rest my hopes on errani now........she is way more consistent than kvitty.......
