milos is truly worthless. i was wrong about him.

he cant hit more the 3 balls in a row inside the court.

he is nothing. that serve keeps him going.

he is out in the first 2 rounds at wimbledon.

milos is truly pathetic. every other ball he hits is either into the net or out.

fed should have won this match already.

CD - remember that Raonic had taken the first set off Roger in Indian Wells & Madrid. This is hardly surprising. Raonic is a beast early in matches.

Yes.  Something about Roger playing Roanic...he always loses the first set!!!  They have played 3 times and Roger has lost the first set in all 3 matches (yet, he's come back to win the match).  I was praying Roger would not lose the tie-break in the 3rd because it would have been bad to say you lost the match, yet you didn't lose your serve the entire match.  So I'm glad Roger found a way to win it - even though my live stream froze up on me in that 3rd set tiebreak! :mad1:  Guess I'll have to catch the replay on Tennis Channel later today.

A complete turn-a-round from you and others.  You guys were praising Raonic - saying he was the 'next big one in tennis'...etc.  Now he loses to Federer and he's worthless.   ..-)  Wow... :rofl_2:

fed needs this title to get some confidence and momentum going for wimbledon.

nadal just needs to get off the damn courts for 3-4 days asap. the risk for injury is too high at the moment.

i sure the hell hope he loses in doubles today.

show me a post where i praised this clown.

i thought he had a bit of a ground game but i did not post that anywhere. that was just a thought to myself.

i know he is useless.

some people said that he was going to be a threat to the clay warrior at RG.

he would have won no more than 4 games.

Rafa fans who are saying they are glad he's out - uhmmm...just remember that Rafa has not won a tournament outside of clay for over a year. Seems like any tournament win for him (not on clay) would be good for his confidence. Just saying.

hmmm..i didn't notice that..& i just checked his titles list.. the last time he won a title outside of clay court was in october 2010 at the tokyo open..
IMO, he should've never played this tournament or at least he should've selected either singles or Doubles..all this play could result in injury or fatigue which is unacceptable as wimbledon & olympics draw near.. :(

meanwhile, fed just scraped through his QF match aginst raonic..happy for him..the scores might sound exciting but i felt the match to be a boring one...there were hardly any long rallies..raonic heavily relied on his serve & often made silly errors..looking forward to SF with youzhny..atleast it should be better than this..

great tennis this grass garbage.

2 shot rallies and every 2nd or 3rd shot is either out or into the net. you people call this tennis?

some tennis we have on grass. so much tactics and strategy involved with these service games lasting 1 minute.

i watched this match but it was a complete waste of my time.

and then you weep, whine, and cry about why they tried to slow down the grass a little at wimbledon.

C'mon herc you know better than that.

Grass is amazing, and its sad to even comment considering the amount of tours that are played on grass..

Surface that can really make even the most defensive players to go aggressive and shorten the long boring rallies on clay.

The opinions are individual, I prefer grass much more, but you can't call it not being tennis  ..-)

I think it's great that we have the variety in tennis.  I mean, how boring would it be if all tennis was played on the same surface; the same speed; the same balls, etc  We NEED this variety.  Like Lug said - we need MORE grass court tournaments.  The grass season is TOO short, especially since most of the players say that Wimbledon is their goal.  They don't get a chance to really 'prepare' for Wimbledon since we don't have that many lead-up grass tournaments.  We have too many clay tournaments (in my opinion) :rofl_2:

To me, a player MUST adapt to play on whatever tournament conditions are thrown at them.  The player that adapts the best - will win...whether it's "blue" clay;  fast hard surfaces; low bouncing indoor, etc.  You have to adapt.

Whether or not Haas wins this match against Berdych... he has had a great tournament.  Seems like the German players are really 'up' for their home tournament (oops...I forgot....Haas became an American citizen, didn't he?).  Anyway...I still think of him as being German.  But he's playing pretty well so far.  Maybe he can keep it up.  (be good for 'the old guys'!).

Just proves that nadal can't play on REAL grass, only when it's been slowed down and baked in the sun so it plays like a clay court! He looked completely lost on this court.
Well played Phillip......

What a backhand winner to take the 1st set 6-4!

Tommy just needs to keep this momentum and he can definitely win this match!

anybody knows what happened with the clay warrior doubles match?

did he skip it because of extreme fatigue?
