anybody has any confidence in murray?

and what about lendl? how long is he expected to hang around?

i am not even sure why he took the job in the first place.

I expected more from Murray after his semifinal performance against Djoker at the Australian Open, but for one reason or another, he is not able to play well consistently. Also, I feel like he is the most likely of the top 4 to be upset in grandslams by a non top 5 player.

Health , weak serving, lack of offensive weapon, slow starter are a few things that he needs to improve IMO.

cant wait to see the draw. would like to see haas with a kind draw.

it will be be good for him to make the quarters.

i think isner and milos raonic will exit in the first week. they are overrated.

in fact i expect all of the big servers to exit in the first week.

grass calls for a significant adjustment in the movement.......so the transition from clay to grass is harder than what it appears.......

in that pic, center court with roof........me not likey.......they should remove the roof.......

can't wait for the draw either. 2 moar days  ;-()

I enjoy watching tennis, but when Tommy retires, I'm really afraid it will never be the same anymore. Not even close.

And with 1HB dying out, with less and less aggressive players, it seems I'm in big trouble

I would have liked to see his full potential, his game was so good at times and never seemed to have a decent chance to get things working at his top level.

Lug, you'll find another player you like. When Borg retired I thought I was gonna die. I was just a kid when I started watching tennis, and it was because of Borg. I saw his match against JMac at W and I fell in love with him.  I will never like any player like Borg, not even Djokovic. Borg is my first love ... the coolest guy who ever played the game. I guess that's how you feel about Tommy.

Nole and Rafa final with Djoko winning.

Nole is stronger on grass and will want revenge for Roland Garos.

I want to see him kiss the grass again as well.  :)
"Sometimes it feels like you're not on a tennis court, the amount of noise you guys produce and for us it's a great feeling. It's a pleasure playing in front of you. It's my great privilege to be standing here in front of one of the greatest players ever, Rod Laver. "

Ahhh, The Ice Man.
He's the main reason I started playing/following the game.
Within the crucible, a block of ice was he.
The game has yet to see another of that ilk.

federer & djokovic in same half..nadal-murray in other..:)
Murray gets a tricky draw : faces Davydenko in R1... Raonic, Anderson, Karlovic and Del Potro are also on his side of the draw.
Raonic vs Giraldo,
Nalbandian faces Tipsarevic
Possible 2nd round: Isner vs Mahut :lmao:

Nole vs ferrero,
Nadal vs Bellucci,
Federer vs Ramos,
Hewitt vsTsonga,
Baker vs Roddick.
Serena vs Sara Errani
Jankovic vs Clijsters..
You can ignore reality, but you can't ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.

Yeah I know what you mean. I thought there wouldn't be any player for me after Henman. Before Henman and Tommy I used to enjoy watching Becker, Stich, Sampras etc but not to the point to cheer for them so passionately...
But it was an easy call when I saw Tommy. It slightly became Tommy>Tim.

Although having said that, I think its gonna be very very hard now, since tennis is going to direction which I don't prefer.

I mean lets face it, if you look top 10, only Fed plays tennis I like. 1HB is dying out, lesser and lesser aggressive players etc etc.

Djokovic and Fed in the same half again. This is statistically impossible  :rofl_2:. Murray has a brutal draw, all big servers.
