Yahoo Music Service: Y! Unlimited
« on: June 30, 2005, 10:34:12 AM »
I've just subscribed to this and was downloading a few songs.
Anyway, anyone know of any crack/hack thingy that will let me permanately save the songs w/o
paying another .79 cents per song? I've search google for "yahoo music hack" but couldn't find
anything. Any help is appreciated.

I was on Napster and Kazaar before. After about 500 or so downloads, my pc can't even start up anymore because
of all the spywares. I had to reformat my pc. Don't want that again.

I use LimeWire but I've heard good things about E-Mule. If you're into the legal thing, you could always try iTunes.

E-mule ain't bad.

I use WinMX which is great for old songs.  They won't let me download the new hot singles though.  Soulseek is great for old and new songs.  Go get em!

I'm a subscriber of Y! Unlimited. It's Yahoo music service and it's very legal. The thing is, if I want to burn it
or move it to another pc/player, I have to pay an addition .79 cents per song. That's very little to pay but if
you have a few thousand songs...well, it's rather expensive. I can save songs to my pc at the moment, but
can't transfer or burn it. Once my subscribtion is over, I can't listen to those songs anymore. I want a way
to crack/hack so I can permanately save it to my pc/player.

I use a programme called Ares- works really well. Whenever you're looking for these programmes, look for the *lite* versions- they don't feature spyware usually. I used Kazzalite for a while and it was fine, but my friend used Kazza media desktop, which unfortunately contains a lot of spyware and really f***ed up his PC.

BTW, Ares is one of the best programmes I've come across for downloading movies. For example, I was able to download Team America in less than two hours. In comparison, Kazzalite was pretty useless for downloading films, as it would either take too long or the files would be incomplete or wrongly labelled.
