do you guys remember this?  b!tching at it's best.  :)). Sometimes I wish, nowadays, players would be so blunt ... imagine  Roger saying to Rafa 'you suck, you can only play on clay' .... or Djokovic saying to Fed 'you are just a ballerina' ... it would be awesome  :rofl_2: ... do you guys think that top guys are too polite? Don't you want to see some blood?   :)) :))

I agree with some of the above posters tho: would much rather see people with legit beef go at it a bit verbally than just give PR answers and play nice when it's insincere.

top players exchanging words ended with mcenroe-connors time i guess........did sampras, agassi, becker etc. ever have a go at one another during their playing times? i don't think so........you will be risking too much with such fights - your security, fame and stuff.......70s and 80s were different and come 90s the world changed a lot.......



tennis message boards would explode if today's top players exchange words like that.......fognini - robredo had a go at each other last year and there are some other incidents like that but it's seen only among lesser ranked players.......
