this match so reminiscent of roland garros 2011.......nothing more needs to be said.......it also looks like federer suddenly finds that strength the moment he sees that nadal is no longer in the tournament........

OMG Shank... you always have to put Nadal in your conversations don't you??
Anyway, Fed came through RG SFs last year didn't he? and Nadal was waiting in the finals... mmmmm.....
Anyway, maybe you are just mad and grumpy cause it seems Fed has a good chance at his 17th. GS and Nadal won't be able to keep up.. LOL
Either way I'm happy Fed came through and demonstrated that at his 31 years old you can't sill count him out of a Grand Slam!!
well i just wanted to emphasize the point that the moment nadal is out of the equation, the balance seems to be heavily titled in favour of this swiss who has always been good at taking what's been handed to him (by nadal)........his last 3 slams have come that way and djokovic just put up a pathetic mental effort today, ran with the flow like a clueless teenager........i certainly did not expect that from him........being the defending champion and world no.1, he showed hardly any maturity that a world no.1 normally possesses........
that's why nadal is important in this era........he is the one who fills the dents created by djokovic, murray, del potro and holds this era together all on his own........he is the one who taught the world federer's limits and exposed the era wide open........
that is the reason why djokovic will never be like nadal and even federer will never be like nadal........they both are momentum players while nadal is the great balancing personality in this era.......
of course i don't like fed to win 17 as that would make rafa's job slightly difficult but i won't be all that bothered either........nadal is nadal, he can never be counted out until he actually retires from the sport.......
