Too bad this place did not have a roof before otherwise Federer would have 7 Wimbledon titles.  Oh wait...

And SID disappears for another two months.......

Thats not very nice of you & Fedfan,i had to nip out after the match.I was just going to say congrats on the final, after that i will take it back.

Sorry Sid, Alex did indeed leave. Your buy played his best GS final yet, for a moment there I wasn't sure.
Then we will fight in the shade.

who needs indoors to beat roddicks and hewitts?
Marian Vajda to Novak Djokovic, "I saw you beat that man like I never saw no man get beat before, and the man KEPT COMING AFTER YOU! Now we don't need no man like that in our lives."

Celebrate for what ? I am only enjoying A TENNIS MATCH. When someone has won 16 slams, adding 1 more is not the most exciting thing.
Do you think you have fooled anyone creating that thread berating Nadal. Only Alex seemed to have fallen for the pawn saying how hard you are on Nadal. All you did was to avoid embarrassments after having sung your big mouth off.
Please refrain from spamming this thread for just a day and let those happy remain so instead of sticking your poisonous nose around.

I believe Nadal could be added to that list too.

I like playing indoors, I like playing outdoors.  Most players I know play a little cleaner indoors.  They both had the exact same conditions.

All Shank needs is another USO that sees Rafa's half washed out while Roger's is blue skies. Then his hatred for the roofless Open will *return*.

That being said, I've never liked indoor tennis, don't even like playing indoors because serving is a joke. Bombs away! It also has a lot to do with why  I don't much care for the post-USO part of the year. So as far as I'm concerned, it was a shame Roger played the SF & F indoors IMO.

I was just saying what I have observed. You get all pumped up whenever Murray is doing well, and then disappear otherwise.

Whats Alex's business to be sad ? I guess the tides should have ebbed for him. I think Djokovic is slowly reverting back to his old self (no offense meant) because matches lost this year like those against Rafa and Fed are just indications that his motivations are not as last year. This only strengthens Roger and Rafa's name as true champions (no offense meant).

We still had lots of sore loser here who surprisingly not Andy Murray fans. They are other player fans who just did not want Fed to win. And now using the roof as an excuse. Please. Roger had win other 16 GS titles without any roof help. Enough said.  :D

Mike Bryan flinch in second set of mixed doubles. Serving to win the tiles and had a matchpoint, he cannot close the deal and make error. And Paes/Vesnina win the second set. Now early third set again Bryan/Raymond break Paes serve. Can they hold on?  THis will be tough on Mike if they indeed lost the title in the end. His serve in trouble again.

You better not go anywhere Alex! :head-bash: :head-bash: :head-bash: With the year we had to put up with last year when Nole won EVERYTHING....heck, I'm just glad Roger was able to get ONE slam this year. It is a "plus" that he'll get the #1 ranking back too.

Sid.  It was/is good to see you back on the board.  And you have nothing to hold your head down about.  Murray played the best he's ever played in a final of a grand slam, so it shows that he is improving.  I actually do think he will win a slam one day.  So congratulations to you and all the other Murray fans.
