Supervisor comes out and make a warning.

plain rubbish.......you have screamapova having others' ears bleeding, you have federer taking bathroom breaks, you have nadal agitated and complaining, djokovic breaking furniture, murray using the f**k word too often and this official is all over a poor frenchman who's just getting his strained muscle massaged for 30 seconds between change overs.......
Marian Vajda to Novak Djokovic, "I saw you beat that man like I never saw no man get beat before, and the man KEPT COMING AFTER YOU! Now we don't need no man like that in our lives."

i demand french open to be renamed RAFAEL GARROS

For stats:

Against Malisse, Youzhny and Istomin, Roger records is 24-1. That one lost when he play Malisse in 1999. 13 years ago.

So if he did not make it to SF, this will be a shocker after biggest shock when Nadal lost.

Praise the tennis gods for best-of-5 sets yet again!!! :not worthy:

How many slams would the men have if they played best of 3???

Some day I want to look into that...

Although interesting, and I believe they would have less slams if it was best of 3, it's impossible to figure out.  You cannot account for people getting tight and the better players raising their game in the latter stages of a match when you are just looking at potentially 3/5 of the match.

Fed snuck through today.  Lucky for him he plays better as the slams progress.  Bad news for him is that I think he needs to improve more than he will...
Good Luck on the Court!!!

Damn, Fed almost had his spurs handed to him.  :scared:

The last time Nadal got knocked out of a major early Fed lost the first two sets his next match too.

So much for the great start Fed had but a win is just that and he moves on.

It wasn't so much that Roger's opponent didn't have the "will" to win - I think he just ran out of gas! Roger was so much fresher in the end and that goes to show how much better shape Roger is in. There is no excuse for a player to not get in shape. Kudos goes to Roger for hanging in there and taking his opportunities in the end.

Kudos to Roger for sure. It was a wonderful match. Bennetau was playing out of his mind, he could have easily taken Rog out in that TB in the 4th set, but top guys are simply playing big points much better ... his tank was empty in the 5th set. Fed was also saved by his brilliant serve.

the way things are at this moment Djokovic will take Wimbledon and not "break a sweat" in process
Fed is just to old and in other half of draw non of "mental midgets" can not even challenge him in final
btw
"mental midgets" aka  Tsonga & Murray

I think that's right. Definitely fewer but not perfect "science."

Nole seems to be too solid (and no I'm not saying this as his fan) ... He is serving great, both BH and FH are amazing, his net game looks gook, he is slicing very well ... anticipation and court coverage are fantastic ... he is moving like a cat, he is very composed, showing no emotions. I don't think Fed will be able to hurt him ... really doubt it ... Murray and Tsonga, don't think so ... I watched them all play at  W this year, none of them looks as nearly as sharp as Novak.

however, let's wait and see ... as our Princess Dallas would say 'one match at a time'  :))

He didn't believe and he didn't prepare.
Dude was sucking serious air in the 4th.
Man up JB and do the off court work or stick to dubs. :mad1:
Had Fed by the shorties and couldn't seal the deal due to poor fitness.
How the hell is he gonna look himself in the mirror tomorrow and every day for the rest of his life.

Oh yeah, now I remember, he's French. :rofl_2:
