i'd love to see one of the veterans grab the wimbledon..probably from the williams sister, clijsters...
from the rest of the field, i'll be supporting maria sharapova, Li na & Stosur

I can't look past Sharapova to win this with the confidence she must have from winning Roland Garos and now all four Grand Slams.

I think it's pretty wide open. I wouldn't mind anyone winning it other than Sharapova and the Williams. I think Serena will probably win it or Sharapova even tho I'm betting against them.


Stosur, Li, Kvitova, Kuzy, Aga, Wozy, some unknown... that would be cool, if they won it. Even Clijsters, Bartolli.

No idea who is going to win on the women's side!  If I had to guess; I would say for now Sharapova!  So, Azarenka will take it!  LOL!

I'm shocked that Venus is out in R1. what the hell? just found out. now, I'm watching Kim vs. JJ, hope for a good match. you see I'm not giving up on girls completely  :innocent:. cough, should I say that that's what TSN is broadcasting  right now so I don't have any choice  :whistle:

Yeah, it's shocking. But shouldn't be surprising. I never count either William's sisters out. But Sjogren's Syndrome is tough to deal with and I think both sisters need more match play nowadays vs a few years ago... (I think. Serena always proves me wrong.) Plus, Venus hasn't contended in the slams for awhile, no?

I like Jelena, really warmed up to her after watching her win the dubs with Murray's brother at Wimbledon (I think it was Wimbledon), she was fun to watch.

Too much of a drama queen for me, and her game brings me no pleasure.
