I watched the third set. It was actually a pretty good match. no screaming at all. I kinda feel bad for Woz. she just can't make it ... kudos to Tamara, she was hitting winners from everywhere, plus she was really brave.

poor wozy. She just needs more power or something. paszek has game tho and took it to her. maybe she can beat Shrieks. Wozy. Stosur. Li. Sad. sad. sad.


I was rooting for pironkova, and had to turn off the match when I saw she couldn't win over Shrieks in that 1st set. I'm assuming Shrieks won. Shrieks looks tough. Her winning the french hasn't dulled her skills. She wants it and won't back down. I admit Shrieks is like the Williams, Clijsters and Henin. Going for it.


Shrieks or Serena will win it I think.

Tamira Paszek is a tough cookie.  She won Eastborne against Kerber in a coming back type of a match; and did it a second time against Wozniacki!  That the hardest type of match to take from your opponents point of view.

I look forward to the finish of the Sharapova - Tsvetana Pironkova match which was suspend due to darkness.  I just hope Tsventana can get back into it and take the second set.  She is down a break! at 1-3
