[/quote] Are we seeing the usual mysterious injury excuses here? I don't like the fact they aren't very gracious in defeat. Serena has a long way to go to catch up on the slam records of past legends in the game. I wouldn't call her a great. Grass has always been her comfortable surface.

As for Radwanska, she is third in the world. Must be doing something right  :)

Serena won both the singles and doubles!  Wow!  Not sure if they can pull that off again at the U.S. Open but they will try even harder since they will be very patriotic after competing in the Olympics!

this was the real wimbledon final this year........played outdoors and saved the meaning of grandslam........appreciations to serena and her fans........

Congratulations to Serena for winning her 5th Wimbledon title.  And what an incredible achievement for both sisters to then go on and to take the doubles too.  Outstanding.
