Nine years after Andy Roddick won his maiden title on green clay in Atlanta, ATP World Tour tennis returned to Georgia's capital city in 2010. Then followed two all-American finals between Mardy Fish and University of Georgia alum John Isner, with Fish twice prevailing in gripping contests to claim the hard-court crown at the BB&T Atlanta Open. The BB&T Atlanta Open is part of the Emirates Airline US Open Series.

WHO IS PLAYING
Mardy Fish, John Isner, Kei Nishikori, Andy Roddick, Kevin Anderson, Donald Young, Brian Baker, Jack Sock

Fish Goes For Title Hat-trick
Mardy Fish bid for a title hat-trick at the BB&T Open this year. In a repeat of the 2010 final, he saved two match points against John Isner, defeating his compatriot 3-6, 7-6(6), 6-2.

Two-Time Finalist Returns - John Isner, the 2010 and 2011 runner-up, returns to Atlanta better and stronger, where he bids to improve his 307 record in ATP World Tour finals.

Roddick Eyes Title - Former World No. 1 Andy Roddick, a winner of at least one ATP World Tour title for the past 12 years, competes in Atlanta for the second time (also 2010).

Baker Makes First Appearance - Brian Baker will be closely followed in Atlanta after his Nice runner-up finish in May and also a run to the Wimbledon fourth round.

Will be interesting to see how deep Brian Baker can go in this tournament. Looks like he has a decent chance of making the semis here.

I saw the game between Blake and Harrison just a few hours ago, and from the game I take two notes:

The first one is that Blake hasn't neither 10% of the game intensity  that he used to have comparing It to some years ago.
The second note is that Harrison still has a lot to improve, and he really needs to become more consistent.

But It was a good game. =)
