i don't know if its just me or everyone : i feel Nole doesn't has that killer look/feelings/Instinct this year..last year, he was incredible..Unbelievable !!..still, its too early too talk..who knows ?/? maybe he'll bounce back & be 40-0 till the year end !!

i hope this is not true, but Maybe He is slowly becoming d regular guy again..losing in SF or F to the top 4 guys !!

Time to add the Olympics loss to this thread now. So he has now lost to Rafa in RG, Fed in Wimby and Andy in Olympics.

His movement was affected. I guess he just can't move well on grass/ dirt. And he made so many silly errors than the usual. He had a lot of difficulty converting BPs. Andy was in incredible form, but if Nole had played well, he could done better. He looked a far shadow of the player who dominated the rest of the field last year. Dunno what's wrong TBH.

he is back to being novak 1.0.......2011 was just out of this world and in nadal's words, "impossible to repeat"........

Would Novak 1.0 have saved  four match points against Tsonga in the FO semis? Would he have recovered a double break against Nadal on clay, and later gone on to win 8 games in a row against him?

Novak's level has dropped, but he is still extremely tough mentally, more so than in 2009 or 2010, I think.

affirmative. he was fatigued by the time he hit wimbledon.
 
i think he could bounce right back on the hard courts. should be interesting to see how it will all unfold now.
 
we have to see if he feels any pressure at the u.s. open. he is no longer the hunted so some pressure may be off.
 
he has again become the hunter after having lost his#1 rank.

If Nole wins Toronto or Cincy, then he will get his mojo back and become favourite for the US Open.

After all, hardcourts have always been his favourite and most comfortable surface.

Nole might not get enough rest because of his schedule but with how his main competitors are falling off at Toronto he isn't going to be worn out from these matches.
