Items falling off player and onto court

What is the official rule for stuff like hats, balls (tennis balls of course), etc. falling out of pocket and onto the court during play?  Say I am playing Jim D and it is windy that day.  His hat has blown off 3 times in the middle of the match and interrupts play.  How does one handle that in a USTA match where there are no refs?

Walk over, take his hat, and give it 'The Rafa' (rub it on your butt).

LOL, "The Rafa"...

An alternative would be to take the hat and do 'The Rogi' and put it in your manbag courtside.
