Andy Roddick will reach the US Open Semi Final

Back problems out of the way, and taking advantage of a quarter with Ferrer as the top seed A-Rod is sure to blast through and lose to Federer in a epic 5 setter under the lights. Book it people.

Sure, and Sampras is coming out of retirement and will win Roland Garros next year...

You must be the same guy who posted on the tennis.com forum that David Nalbandian would win Cincinnati and the US Open...

i'd love it if Andy reaches the SF or F..heck, i wouldn't be sad if he beats my fav. player( roger) on the way..
but practically speaking, Its not gonna happen..Andy's Fitness has not been good for the past few months..Injuries on & off..& the recent disaster at the olympics( at his favourite surface) & the R1 loss to chardy at toronto must be lingering on the back of his mind.. :( :(

It's been a bit of a roller coaster ride the past few years, but you can't count him out completely.  He loves NY and am sure he's thinking that he doesn't have many chances left if he wants to snag another slam.  If the stars come into alignment, he has a slim, slim, shot.  I hope he plays well and makes it to the 2nd week. :))

LOL, you only like it because Fed is predicted to lose int he semis.  :)

I would like to see Roddick make a nice run, I am sure he is not loving his tennis situation right now.

As a big fan of Andy I would love to see it, but I gotta tell you, I don't see that happening.  But I do love bold predictions and applaud you for having the guts to do it.  It is easy to come out here and PREDICT (haha) that Fed and Djoko will reach the semis.

Yes I had a dream about Roddick winning the US Open title again. Then I woke up and realized he'd be lucky to get to the R16 anymore. Poor Duck.
