I am sorry but I don't think he will.. He hasn't been in any semis, quarter finals in any big touunament...

What the EFF is a big tournament then? Davis Cup? Nope. He's been to the finals (and won) that. US Open? Nope. He's been to the finals (and won) that. Wimbledon? Nope. He's been to the finals of that. Australian Open? Nope. He's been to the semis of that. French Open? I guess. So, to you, the French Open is the ONLY big tournament?  ..-)

He's thumping his serve, flattening out his forehand, and playing great at the net. He can really make a deep run if he continues. He's got an easy next match and then onto (most likely) Del Po, who hasn't been putting on an excellent show at all. So Roddick, if he continues to play well, will take him down (my guess, in 4 with a tie-breaker or two), and then on to Djoker. Which will certainly be a better match. He will undoubtedly put on a better show than he did at the Olympics.

Roddick played gr8 !!! had a fun time watching him play this hard..:)

But don't forget, he has fognini next..fognini covers the court like  a crazy man !!! :rofl_2: one sec he's here, the next moment, he's there..he's everywhere..

if he continues to play like this, he'll beat him..
The R4 opponent is Delpo.. :Confused:..with a little support from the crowd, i think he could pull this out.. :) :)

Roddick's a bully and has been for years. He bullies punks like Tomic but gets spanked by the top players. That being said, Delpo very well may breakdown before he gets Andy.

Andy getting to the SF brings shades of Agassi 2005, Sampras 2002, and Connors 1991.

Eh. Forgive me if I don't quite believe you. You also said Roddick only played well at 2009 Wimbledon, so apparently he doesn't have to play well to make it to four other slam finals, winning one.

I have to agree with 816. As much as I'd like to see Fognini do well, this is not a great venue (Ashe vs. Roddick) to perform as well as he might otherwise. As GBY said about Almagro yesterday, Fognini may be on his best behavior today so as not to turn an already pro-American crowd hostile. That much will be interesting.
