Thanks swish!  Sadly not one that interests me...  Not an Isner fan.  It's not hit personality or anything.

I'm not an Isner fan either. Nothing personal - just don't like his tennis.

Well I'm not a fan of either of you!!! :cursing:

Sweet!   :)>>>> :)>>>> :)>>>>

omg what a mental collapse by isner at the end of the fourth and beginning of the fifth. i actually though isner was going to get a time warning for the amount of time he was taking when he got back to the court and the umpire called time to start the fifth set. isner did have some chances to break back, but kolshriber really heald tough and made some great shots to seal the deal.

I just watched the whole match as I couldn't do it last night.

Simply awesome win and performance by Kohli  :thumbs-up:
Beating Isner is always good in my book, but what a smart display that was by Philipp!

Glad he applied his great game from 1st set to 4th and 5th, and stayed sharp.

Keep it up Kohli!  :trampoline:

Kohli played smart last night and Isner lost his control regarding line and foot fault calls.

I hope another  American goes down today too.

8 minutes to change clothes - he told the chair he wanted 10! - is WTA gamesmanship. This is the kind of gamesmanship that irks me.

The luck of the Irish, better said, swiss....
Fed will be very well rested against his match against Berdych...
Although, Berdych apparently did not spend a whole lot of energy in his 4th round match, dispatching Almagro in straight sets, 6-1 in the third...

The walkover might be a disadvantage for Federer. Remember last year's RG semifinal? Nole had a walkover the previous match, and then he looked out of rhythm in the semi against Federer.

Hopefully, Federer gets some decent practise time today and is prepared for Berdych, cos he is in ominous form these days.

I do not doubt that at all.  There is something to getting into a rhythm when playing these matches every other day.  Fed does not need the rest, never does.  I think overall it will hurt him more than help him.  Unless that is Fish was gonna win tonight.  :)

Maybe yes, maybe not...
Fish has played quite well, so it could have been a long , tight match..
But we'll never know.

BTW, with Isner going down to Kohli, and Fish withdrawing, "grandpa" Roddick becomes the sole remaining american player in the men's singles...
Who would have thought , a few days ago ?

Nole is not Roger. Remember all of the walkovers Roger has had enroute to some of his major titles. Yeah, those walkovers have really worked against him over the years  ..-)

never been a fan of fish and now this........why did he win his previous round if he wasn't fit for the next match? fedoriva's luck streak never ends........

in olympics 2012, fedoriva had a semifinal as long as 4 1/2 hours before a best of 5 sets final for the first time in his career and he lost the final to murray in straight sets.........so much for the argument "a pro needs to come prepared for 5 hour battles, rain breaks and other scheduling delays"........that was trumpeted in the ears of nadal fans every single time nadal fell victim of rain delays and had to play catch up with the schedule........
Marian Vajda to Novak Djokovic, "I saw you beat that man like I never saw no man get beat before, and the man KEPT COMING AFTER YOU! Now we don't need no man like that in our lives."

i demand french open to be renamed RAFAEL GARROS
