Cahill channels Babble...20 min later :)
Good luck on the court is nice to have, but it's usually extraneous when playing against Baker.

I can't watch grown men like Berdych and Cilic curl up in the fetal position after they get huge leads.

I hate this generation.  :thumb-down:

He's crapping!

He should wear navy...hides it a bit better.  Impressive to see how much better Fed is playing though...yeah Berd got tight but Fed has been off for a good portion of the match.

Fed's like a shark when he senses blood in the water. He metomophoses into another player. This is how he wins so many of his matches. He just holds on long enough until his opponent begins to bleed.

Curious what you think the age diff is between Berd and Rafa?  Or, how big is the generation?  I tend to think of Rafa as a half generation younger than Fed, but maybe that's starting to split hairs?

No, there are 2 men that have the mettle to win from this gen. Nole and Rafa. Past generation had multiple champions--men with the mentality of a champion.

I don't place Roger in this generation.

Looked it up myself...Berdych is 9months older than Rafa.  I put them both as a half generation younger than Fed FWIW...

Overall, I agree.  Plenty of interesting discussion in this area, maybe for a different thread :). Bird comes back after that great shot by Fed, still on serve.

Roger emerged from Generation Infirmary: Hewitt, Safin, Haas, Nalbandian, Ferrero, Coria, and Roddick.
