I'm wondering why anybody is watching girls playing tennis  :)~. Women (like Emma) should stay at home, take care of kids, cook etc. Tennis is for men  :rofl_2:.

Babs, I loved watching Justine, but she turned me off by that episode with Serena with her hand 'thingy' back in 2003... I still love watching here matches but I don't like her personality ...

I expect Stosur, Sharapova, Clijsters & the other top players to get through this round.  I doubt if Stosur will succeed in defending her title.  The winner, at this stage, looks like S.Williams. 

The matches I am keeping an eye on this round are for reasons of British interest - Na Li / Watson & Crawford / Robson.

Interesting match going on.  Lepchenko vs Johansson.  Lepchenko up 40-0, thinks she won the match and they challenge and have to replay the point.  That was at 5-4 in the 3rd.  It is now 5-5 in the 3rd, 30-30.

 :rofl_2: Mattek is so hilarious. I love her.  what a character. her socks and her outfit, just great  :rofl_2:. I managed to watch last few games, feel good for Venus but Mizz Matek is something (I think it's Emma btw) :)) :)

but even Venus tried to compete in that dress stuff war with Mizz Mattek. I think Venus failed. Nobody is beating Mattek in the dress department  :)>>>>

So... Caroline Woz loses again - this time in the first round of a grand slam. Just in January she was the #1 ranked women player! At the rate she is going - where do you think she will end up at the end of the year?

The news is that Caroline is  carrying a knee injury.. Her loss is understandable under the circumstances.. I do wonder how far off the place she has fallen in the past couple of years.. Even fully fit, she is not a legit slam contender any more, IMHO.. :Confused:
