I can't say "Olive Garden" is my favorite restaurant. I've been going there for over 15 years and their salad is just way too bland. The pasta dishes are way too heavy. I guess I should try the steak or pork dish.
Then we will fight in the shade.

I noticed that Clay Death just enjoyed another birthday, happy B'day CD. I hope the coming year will treat you kindly.  :king:

In other news, DelPo moved to the finals today with a 7-6(4) 7-6(5) victory over G. Muller in Vienna.

Tipsy is on his heels but went down to Grega Zimlja of Slovakia 3-6 7-6(5) 6-2 which keeps Tipsy in 9th place in the race behind Tsonga.

CD - I disagree. My own home-made salad is delicious.

how do you make it? just wondering. when you say 'home made' do you grow it all yourself ? or just buy it at your local store?

now here is my favorite salad ever and I make it very often.
so, get some good tomato
cucumber
green onions
feta cheese
one little hot pepper (if you don't like it spicy, you don't have to use it)
good quality virgin olive oil, salt and pepper.
just cut everything and mixed it up. it's really good

Mimi, btw. I  love steak so much, but it has to be very good. AAA New york is my favorite one. It is expensive but it taste like heaven. . bbq it to medium and you'll love it. I eat chicken too. prefer thighs, marinated in a very good sauce (some spices and olive oil, very simple). bbq again. it's the best way to cook.

I always eat some steamed veggies (with a bit of olive oil) and some great salad with my meat. I  do not eat any food that has too much carbs (no bread, no sugar, no rice, no potato or pasta) and I'm very lean, muscular. I just love veggies, I get all vitamins, and if you use some good spices, good oil,  it is the best food ever.

I let myself go once in a while, getting some junk food, but not too often.

sounds really good. I make something similar too just w/o beans but it sounds good.  I just never tried beans in my salads. love balsamic vinegar too but don't use it too often.

OK, if somene told me that FFF and I would talking about salads and cooking on a tennis board I'd be like 'get the hell out of here'  :scared:. You, see real men can cook.  :rofl_2:.

What kinda food our General Herc like?

love shrimp too. trying to eat sea food as often as I can. my big weakness is baby calamari. so good when cooked right. thank God, there are some good restaurants in Calgary that make amazing calamari.

I love salmon and we Canadians are blessed to have probably the best salmon in the world. you just have to buy it fresh, not frozen. it's expensive, but oh boy, so good. gee, I might go to the restaurant tonight. getting hungry,  :))

btw, just read an older post from Emma about my ginger gf (before you guys shut down the old thread and started this one).  not sure if Emma sees this, but my gf is  driving me crazy. she got this new job traveling all over Canada and I miss her so much. it's about oil fields, great money, but sometimes she spends so much time in some areas that don't even have a cell coverage. I see her now only 2 times a month.  so hard for me. She can get a job in Calgary but she is crazy enough and wild to this stuff. She just loves nature (I do too, but she is out her mind when it comes to it).

why can I not have a normal life with a normal woman. darn, it just sucks. I want to settle down, but she thinks it's early and she needs to travel, she just can't stay at one place.

but, I look at her deep green eyes and her ginger hair, I go crazy. Am I stupid?  time to settle down but I can't do with her or without her so I'm fu/cked up one way or another. Last time we went for holidays (6 months ago or so) I wanted us to go South America, beautiful hotel, beaches and she didn't want it. We ended up camping, I was eaten by stupid mosquitoes. it was so hot during the day time, and so cold during the night time. I wanted to kill my self . still,  had a great time because she was there.  :)).

relax general alex. if she is traveling all over canada then there will be ample opportunities for her to meet a lot of good, qualified people just like you.

you might be left holding the bag so to speak. better be prepared for it.

now hopefully for your sake that will not happen but a small possibility does exist.

she is probably trying to advance her career so you really cant do anything but offer her your support.

what do you think?

Everyone finds a special lady.
It's easy too.

If you think about it most people will meet 50 to 100 of the opposite sex.
Then will pick one of those and make them special.

So no one is special at all, you just make them special because that's the best you can do.

If you lived 30 miles away you'd find another special person.

No use in building it up, life's too short.
