hello Shanker and CD :)

it would be better for us if Amecia does not go down in ecoonomcy etc  it affects us to certain extent, know nothing about this banking system stuff, but if amercia is in recession, we are continuing to suffer.  Before the recession, our banks offer high percentage of interest, even for an ordinary saving accounts at like 5% - the highest 10% for deposit account, that was in 1998!  but now, we almost got zero interest (0.01%?!) even for large sum of deposits.  Many old people or younger people, relied on these interests to keep up their lives, now they+me got nothing!  :)>>>> :)>>>>

hi mimi, 0% is so cruel.......i din't know that chinese have been hit that badly........our banks still offer 7-10 % for deposits........the best thing about our banks is that the credit card limit is so low compared to many other nations........so that nobody buys out stuff like crazy.......that's what protected our banks in this recession........can you believe that there are 3 million govt. bank jobs up for grabs in the next 3 years in india?

IT was one industry which was hit quite bad in recession and for obvious reasons.......

India is a country in the rise while usa is the opposite.  .......... We HK are going down too....

general shanks i see a bright future for india in the next 5-10 years. :))

you just need the right leadership.

its the same here. these americans keep electing imbeciles and true morons to the white house and then they expect real change.

or maybe they dont want change. maybe they want a bloody welfare state because that is the path they have chosen again.

50 million on food stamps is not enough for them. they want 100 million on food stamps.

1 in 6 americans live in poverty. they want to make it 1 in 4.

i think he is one of the most improved players but unfortunately for him the competition is still too brutal at the top.

invariably he runs into guys like nole at these events who shut him down time and again.

he needs to go and start winning smaller events which will build more confidence.

Welcome back to the 1930s I guess. Luckily the rest of us can use your brains to survive Obama and his cronies.

Fed was utterly ruthless to Tipsy, not a chance in hell for Tipsy to get anything out of this.

right leadership is a thing of past, hercules.......just like in the US, people here don't elect the right ones........they fall for brief short term pleasures(cheap tricks of congress to attract innocent masses) and lose long term happiness........

we had 10 great years in the 90s and early 2000s when the other major party ruled and that's about it.......these current ruling clowns (congress party of india) have robbed the country to the max over the last 60 years and have stuffed our national wealth in swiss banks........

can you believe that we would become one of the richest countries in the world if all that wealth is recovered? the black money stuffed in swiss banks alone is 1 crore crore rupees = 2 trillion(10^12) dollars according to wiki leaks........

i understand the anger.......americans are not used to conservative living........the adjustment would be quite difficult for a few years........but they had it coming din't they? something had to give with all the lavish spendings and unlimited credit card buying........

i don't know who you guys are holding responsible for it........bush? clinton? or just obama? the way i see it, bush did the most damage to their economy with all that unnecessary spending on war and his greed for oil........

i think its the changing demographics general shanks.

its going to be difficult for the republicans to make any real progress at this current rate.

they have to reinvent themselves in light of these changing demographics.

latinos (the fastest growing group in this country), women, and the african americans put this moron back in the white house.

the unemploment rates for the african americans are nearing 15% and could be at 20% in another 12-15 months but they ran to the polls to vote for obama anyway.

republican party has failed to engaged and embrace the latinos and the blacks. and then you have some other lunatic groups on the far left.

they are all out for bigger and bigger role for govt. and they are out to bankrupt the country.

i have no use for either party but i do believe that americans passed up a chance to elect somebody really intelligent this time. romney is a turn around expert. he could have put the country on the right track. he has a record of success.

obama is nothing more than a community organizer who has learned to talk a good game. he is bogus. he knows little or nothing and it shows.

you maybe right........all i have seen obama do is talk endlessly everywhere........little seems to be substance in his work if he carried out any in the first place........

it's funny americans fell for that "no outsourcing" nonsense and other stuff campaigned by obama........america itself relies on european and japanese outsourcing........world is a global village.......

by cutting down outsourcing in IT and related fields, obama is foolishly letting other nations take away their big time opportunities in sectors like manufacturing, engineering as people and resources would be behind those easier jobs which demand relatively less skill and time and pay decently as well.......

overall, what worked in favour of obama apart from the restrictions on outsourcing?

ppl voting for candidates only because of their race/color etc are idiots. And you can't say in Obama case it hasn't been happening.

I remember 4 years ago when Obama became president I bet with my friend, cause he said first thing he will do(in 1st 5months) is to withdraw troops from Iraq. I said no way and won the bet.

Bottom line, you are right about Obama, general hercs.

Steve Forbes: US Heading for Recession With 2nd Obama Term

By Bill Hoffmann and Kathleen Walter

The United States is headed for a recession during President Barack Obama’s second term, renowned financial guru Steve Forbes predicted Wednesday.

"We won’t get a depression, thankfully. This is still a very resilient economy, but we will have a recession," Forbes, chairman and editor-in-chief of Forbes Media, told Newsmax.TV in an exclusive interview.

"Raising taxes on capital, raising taxes on small businesses, which we will likely get now, particularly since the Republicans did so badly in the Senate races, that is going to pose a real burden.

"We have Europe doing the same thing: piling on new taxes, Japan piling on new taxes. The Federal Reserve is going to continue to undermine the dollar, which is going to hurt small and medium-size business. It’s going to be very tough sledding next year."

the last thing we need is the GOP joining in the identity politics game. Treat everyone like an individual, not a member of a race.

democrats are getting very good at playing the race card and playing the politics of division.

this election shows very clearly how divided the country is now. just pathetic.

this is what happens when you put racists in public offices and give them power.

democrats are not fooling anybody. they are only fooling the fools.
