i find it strange that this hurricane is coming so late? Isn't the hurricane supposed to be happening in Summer?

I hope it won't bring too much damage. Are you living in high floor or ground floor? I live in 17/F, so I am safe from typhoon (HK calls them typhoons and not hurricanes)

i am quite high and dry mimi. even during katrina i was safe at this property. i live on a golf course.

unfortunately my other properties did not fare too well. they were a little closer to low lying areas.

Hong Kong is too small and crowded, only very rich people can afford an "individual house on ground floor" or those who lives in rural areas. We all live in high floored buildings. My friend lives in 42/F.
