With Ferrer playing as well as he has been this fall, Ferrer and the doubles team alone should be good enough to take the Czechs. Berdych should fold like a cheap tent against the much, much more reliable Spaniard.  Berdych has a chance on slower hard courts or clay where he can use his size and strength to still hit winners.  Faster hard courts allow Ferrer to hit winners that he couldn't hit on slower courts. Look what David did today - 40+ winners vs 20+ errors, much better than Stepanek. Ferrer just needs to be solid off his returns and groundstrokes and I think Tomas will inevitably implode.

Respectfully,
masterclass

Wjo would have thought David Ferrer would ever lead the ATP in titles for an entire season. Wow!  :gleam:
Then we will fight in the shade.

hola mimi. they are all wonderful people here at this forum mimi.
 :))

everybody gets along. nobody has a permanent hate agenda against anybody.

mtf is the only place i know that is full of mad, sick, and biased people. sick biased mods have to feel important there.

Agreed. Much friendlier place here. And btw, general hercules congrats and best wishes on your mod position.  You show by example how good dialog can take place without attacking people.  :not worthy:

they dont quite have that testicular fortitude.

do they play indoor?  Then ofr course Birdman has more advantages, his powerful serves and ground strokes gonna work more effectvely in fast surface.

lendl has plans for murray folks. check this out:

Ivan Lendl sees himself coaching the rest of Andy Murray's career

Ivan Lendl says he sees himself coaching US Open champion Andy Murray for the rest of the Scot's career.

Murray appointed eight-time Grand Slam winner Lendl as his coach in December, and has since won Olympic gold, the US Open and reached the Wimbledon final.

"As long as it works for both of us, I can see myself being with him for the rest of his career," Lendl told BBC World Service.
Play media Andy Murray     Andy Murray's breakthrough 2012 season
The 52-year-old also revealed he intends to improve Murray's tennis.

"I have a lot of plans where I would like to see Andy end up with his game," said Lendl, who helped the 25-year-old become Britain's first male Grand Slam singles champion in 76 years with victory in the US Open in September.

But despite Murray's success, the 52-year-old Czech-born coach says the player is only at 20% of where he wants him to be, though he refuses to set a particular target in terms of Grand Slam victories.

wow, only 20% of the player he wnated Murray to be, this Lendi does have a high standard  :lmao:

i never understand how come Murray could remain so calm after his first slam victory?  :confused1: :confused1:

he had waited a long time for that slam. he is a worthy champion.

he gave great britain a hero and he gave his mom a present she had been waiting for.

Good day all. I hope you are well.

My family and I had a horrible stomach virus since the weekend. Thank God we are all over it now.
I felt so bad, I missed the WTF final.
I hope this weekend is much better. Looking forward to the Davis Cup. I guess given the home court advantage, the Czech team will be favored slightly.

Respectfully,
masterclass

oh, missed this post.  Sorry that you had such horrible stomach virus and happy that it was all over now.  Be more careful next time  :king:

I also favoured the czech a bit more.
