general alex did we lose conchita for good this time?

also where are you keeping queen emma?  :))

bring her out once in a while. she can use a few drinks here.
I was wondering too what's happening with Conchita too. have no clue Chis and BGT too. I mean, sure they might be exploring some new avenues. It's just strange, they used to be so active here and no matter what you do, you have you notebook with w/l internet.

Emma is a cookie. nobody can understand her, not even Emma her self  :rofl_2:

i watched that wimbledon classic between sampras and fed.

what a battle that was. fed had all the shots at 19. there was nothing he could not do even back then.

That guy saying the same thing.

Nice video.
Fed very well could have a few more slams if he had his head on straight early.

Strange the announcers said Fed is from Switzerland.

Pretty ominious:

He looked like death.
I have been saying he looks miserable for more than a year now. I think he lost his desire and passion for tennis several years ago and is now totally burned out. Nadal on court or training is a very, very different Nadal to the one we see when he's partying or doing anything that does not involve tennis. Since his passion is gone I don't think he will be on the tour after 2013. Couple that with his constant injuries and is spells nothing but doom.
Then we will fight in the shade.

i am not buying it. competitive fire will burn once he hits clay. we already know he is not going to win anything on hard courts.

those days of being able to win on hard courts are gone for him. his knee is bad and his movement is not where it used to be.

Super match.  Thanks for the video.  Federer playing his first time on Centre Court at Wimbledon and defeats the great Sampras. A sure sign of things to come.

Did you all notice that Sampras and Federer rarely used the towel on the court between points? I don't know if I even counted 3 times in 5 sets.  It has gotten ridiculous today with players going to the towel after every point.  Just delaying tactics.  Do like they did a few years ago.  Keep some sawdust in your pocket or have a little belt towel if you really need it to wipe the hands.

Respectfully,
masterclass

that match is overrated.......sampras was about to lose in the second round in that tournament but somehow pulled off a 5 set win........signs of clear decline........even in that match above, he looks way below his best........the fact that they changed to slow grass the very same year made things worse for the old man........

Hi all!  I hope you are doing well.

General Hercules, looks like ESPN is using one of your player nicknames you thought of a long time ago... :)
Thought you might enjoy seeing it. Obviously they are reading forums.

affirmative general masterclass.

there is no question we have a small following in the press. they check us out to guage the pulse of the sports fans and also to get ideas.

we know for a fact that they read mtf and this forum. they are also very negative about mtf which is calling it like it is.

i have not run into anybody in well over a year now that has anything positive to say about that toxic dump.

and guess where most of the blame is put: the mods and the admin.
