check this one out general brick top: :))

A man and his wife were having an argument about who should brew the coffee each morning.

The wife said, "You should do it, because you get up first, and then we don't have to wait as long to get our coffee."

The husband said, "You are in charge of cooking around here and you should do it, because that is your job, and I can just wait for my coffee."

Wife replies, "No, you should do it, and besides, it is in the Bible that the man should do the coffee."

Husband replies, "I can't believe that, show me."

So she fetched the Bible, and opened the New Testament and showed him at the top of several pages, that it indeed says:

"HEBREWS"

Ha!  That one mad me laugh yo.
Good Luck on the Court!!!

So Fed is 3-2 in his exo tour. I predict he trashes Tsonga in Bogota tomorrow. He wants to send a message prior to the Aussie Open.
yup, and Fed comes to Melbourne and loses in R2

Alex - dream on.
Then we will fight in the shade.

Now listen to THIS guys, CD, General Scott and General FedFan, Brick Top and the others. I have a potentially Grand Idea :bright idea:. If you don't like it we won't do it, or in case the scheme won't work, we can always delete the thread.

So, what's missing on all of the tennis boards currently is tension, suspense, friction, all the good stuff that makes chatting exciting. They've  managed to kill that everywhere. So, the idea is to make an "Anti-moonball thread" here in the chat section, stickied and equal to our Castle thread. FedFanForever will create it.  Why is there need for another chat thread? The answer is simple:  because half of the tennis fans feel closed out because they identify the Castle and us with "Nadull the moonballer", that's why they won't post here, especially with CD as mod  they would feel intimidated. However, fortunately we have a Fedfan mod here, masterclass......  And with a chat thread named "Anti-moonball thread" created by a Fedfan they would know it's the polar opposite of the Castle. So when the season starts and Raferminator comes up with some funny "Muger Frauderer" posts, people like the Magician and Glenn Mirnyi could respond with some "moonballer doesn't know how to hold a racket" posts. All this in order to bring back the life and the sex into the tennis community. All within the boundaries of good taste of course, no rude personal attacks and stuff like that.
I know Glenn,  The Magician, Fed's Mate and the rest were "mortal enemies" (The Magician hated my guts specifically) but now they are just fellow tennis fans who got screwed over and whose joy got killed. What about giving them a chance and having some "Friendly Violent Fun" with them?
Tell me what you think, I'm all excited :trampoline:

We also need a gay chat thread. I'm gonna make that one because I'm the biggest drama queen in the Castle :rofl_2:. It will be great not only for gay people but for straight ones too for all kindsa unusual topics like fashion, sex, the latest X-factor or whoknowswhat. Now I need some title advice for that thread. Should it be Gay Lounge, Gay Bar,  Blue Oyster Thread or simply The Gay Chat Thread? You're the native English speakers, give it some groove if you can. Would also appreciate some help from Emma or the other chicks...

Video of Nadal with some intensive practice on his indoor hard court and commentary - but look at him between 3:05 and 3:27.  This does not look encouraging, but I'm not surprised. :(  :crying:

Nadal Practice

Respectfully,

We'll have to see his backhands. I hope he will bring his crosscourt backhand from AO 2009 and his dtl backhand from USO 2010. But I believe he won't be able to work himself back into shape until the start of the clay season....

BTW thanks for the new wavey smiley General Scott, you're really attentive :thank-you:

good stuff general. keep them coming.

other than that, nothing new here. we called it. he is just a moron who does not what the hell he is doing.

it looks pretty damn clear that hard courts are not helping. he is having knee issues again already.

now this would not happened if he had been practicing on clay and slowly finding his game again.

he also looks terrible on hard courts. no different than most club level players. he has lost 50% of his groud game and ground game is all he has.

its not like he has a dominating serve and a devastating net game. he can barely serve well and he cant cvolley to save his life.

its not looking good. i think he is done soon unless he goes and gets on clay.

consider his career over and done with unless he jumps on clay and stay there.

clay to hard court adjustment does not require more than a couple of days. clay to grass adjustment is the most difficult in tennis and he has been doing that in a matter of a 2-3 days at least until this year. and that is only because he had already wrecked his knee long before he got to indian wells.

he wrecked it right here on this court which general masterclass posted. he practiced like a slave on this court before going over to indian wells.

and once there, he could not help himself. even with substantial knee pain, he just had to play singles and doubles. no wonder fed blasted him off the court there in straight sets. and then he gets to miami and again with considerable knee issue. so he again enters doubles.

so this blundering buffoon desrves his knee issues. he runs 1/2 around the world to make sure he keeps having them. hell he even had them install an indoor hard court for him so he can destroy his kees around the clock.

this is why nobody but his immeditate family is feeling sorry for him. hard courts are killing him and yet he cant get himself to get off those courts.

you practice and play more on clay and you put in relaxed appearances on the required hard court events. that is it. its just that simple. you strategically lose early on hard courts or you career ends and you win nothing. nothing at all.

he should have learned something from muster.

Glad you like it. FedFanForever or Masterclass will have to create it though. That will make it 100% authentic.

GlennMirnyi said legends never die, it's the golden opportunity for him to prove it. Also for the Magician  to revive himself. Maybe the last chance for them to get back into the tennis community under the names they've made for themselves, to post in the posting styles they like and just be who they are. Also to laugh in the faces of the dump mods and make a mockery of their efforts to get rid of them. The golden opportunity to prove they're winners.... Common radical Fedfans, this is your big chance!!!!

What do you think of the gay thread CD, it would be great not only for posters like Hian who are permabanned from both dumps but also for anyone wanting to have unusual fun...  What would be the best title for a gay thread???? BTW do you like my new profile??? Already adapting to my new gay thread creator role :))

Thanks CD. We will see what happens. If people don't want to grab the opportunity and win or simply don't like the thread we can delete it anytime.

Now we'll have to wait for FedFan to create the thread. Name it Anti-moonball thread or whatever he wants to name it but the name has to show that it's a radical Fed/old school tennis thread.

anybody see this news:
Report: Nadal to be offered $1.2 million to play Vina del Mar PRINT THIS PAGE   A report in the Chilean newspaper La Tercera says the Vina de Mar tournament is planning to offer Rafael Nadal a $1.2 million appearance fee to play there. Vina del Mar, a clay-court event, is the first stop in Latin America’s ‘Golden Swing” and begins the week of February 4, right after the first round of Davis Cup.

Nadal, who has been out since Wimbledon due to a knee injury, will return to the tour at the beginning of the 2013 season in Doha. He also scheduled to play the Australian Open and is considering playing Davis Cup against Canada in Vancouver.

Nadal has said at various times this year that he would like to reduce the number of hard-court tournaments he plays to lessen the wear and tear on his knees. Nadal has already committed to playing Acapulco, which is also played on clay and begins on February 25.

Murray wants long-term deal with Lendl PRINT THIS PAGE   Andy Murray says he’s working on a long-term deal with coach Ivan Lendl, who helped lead him to an Olympic gold medal in London and his first Grand Slam title at the U.S. Open.

“Ivan and I have a very good relationship,” Murray told British reporters while training in Miami. “It’s very honest and open. That’s why it has worked so well and why both of us are planning long term. We spoke at the end of last year and it was much more short term -- ‘let’s see how the first few months of the season go’. “Now it’s: ‘What are we going to be doing in four or five years’ time?’”
