the beaches and the babes. you can find all that in florida.
perhaps the finest beaches on the planet.
have a blast general freakyman. florida is right next door to me. i have spent a lot of time in destin, panama city, and pensacola.

daytona beach is ok also but i prefer destin.

But "spirit" only gets you so far when Hurricane Federer emerged in 2004.

I never said Hewitt dominated much, bringing up Federer is rather irrelevant in this situation, no?

It's kind of relevant to ask the question why Hewitt stopped being relevant in 2004. Sudden decline or another reason?
Then we will fight in the shade.

I know! I love the beaches. It's a lovely place (except for the bad parts are REALLY bad!) I'm going around the Tampa area ;)

Federer. You already said that.

Sure I did, but the real question is why? Hewitt had dominated Federer through 2003, what suddenly changed in 04?

Federer hit his groove. Hewitt never really changed. The players caught up with him. He did start losing form, but it surely wasn't in 2004, it was much more recent than that.

also hewitt did not have any real weapons other than his fantastic wheels.

the game changed to a point where you had to have at least 2 big weapons to be the best. without that, you could not beat the best.

Fed raised the stakes in 2004, suddenly you had to have an awesome forehand.

I'm really feeling the Hewitt vibe today. If it wasn't so late here, I'd watch some of his old matches  :))
