According to several British newspapers, Sir Alex Ferguson is seriously considering retiring from Manchester United.
The Daily Telegraph first quoted unnamed sources when reporting that a team outing had been "overshadowed" by suggestions that the 71-year-old manager was seriously considering stepping aside from the Premier League club. Ferguson, who had a heart pacemaker fitted in 2004, is set undergo hip surgery this August, and his health has raised fresh questions over whether or not he wishes to continue in his role.
Ferguson sealed Manchester United's 20th top-flight title this month and his thirteenth overall since he took charge of the club. The Scottish manager addressed his future with the Old Trafford club after stories emerged on Saturday about his physical condition.

"Whether I will be here to oversee another decade of success remains to be seen, but I certainly don't have any plans at the moment to walk away from what I believe will be something special and worth being around to see.

Real Madrid's draw tonight means Barca secure a 22nd Spanish title.

Also this game Porto v Benfica in the Portuguese league, Benfica led Porto by 2 points, this was the penultimate round of the league and needed a draw to stay top. 1-1 going into stoppage time and Porto do the unthinkable, score for 2-1 and lead the table with one game left. Incredible!

Barcelona clinched the Spanish league title after Real Madrid was held to 1-1 at the Catalan club's crosstown rival Espanyol on Saturday.
 
Madrid staved off Barcelona's title celebration by winning its last three games, but the titleholders failed to delay it any longer.
 
Espanyol's Cristian Stuani opened in the 23rd minute. Gonzalo Higuain leveled in the 58th, but Madrid couldn't find the winner even with Cristiano Ronaldo going on to help.
 
Barcelona sealed the league with a seven-point lead and four games to go, and with Madrid having only six more points in play.
 
''I have to congratulate Barcelona, its coaches, players, board, and fans,'' said Madrid coach Jose Mourinho. ''It just won a league that was ours until today, and the least we can do is to congratulate them.''


 
It is Barcelona's 22nd league title and fourth in five seasons. Madrid holds a record 32.





 
But Barcelona still has something to play for in its remaining four games, starting with a trip to third-place Atletico Madrid on Sunday: Winning out would mean it matches Madrid's claim to the best campaign ever from last season when it hauled in a record 100 points.

Supporters clambered dangerously up shop fronts, scaffolding, statues, bus stands and road signs to catch glimpses of Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and, of course, Ferguson as the double decker bus - bearing a ''Champions 2013'' logo - wound its way from Old Trafford to the city center.
Some lines were 30-people deep and many buildings had roof tops crammed with fans, some of them shirtless.
United players were spending a second day with the trophy after lifting it Sunday following the 2-1 win over Swansea - Ferguson's final game at Old Trafford after nearly 27 years in charge.
''Yesterday was a day I'll never forget,'' said Ferguson, who waved a United flag in front of supporters before the bus departed. ''All my family will never forget.
''On behalf of all my players, thanks for all your support.''
Rio Ferdinand conducted the chants among the players, who jumped up and down on the top deck under overcast skies. A vast police escort led the bus along the streets, with a helicopter above.
''It feels absolutely amazing ... it's been worth the wait,'' said Van Persie, the striker and top scorer who won the title in his first season with United and was serenaded by teammates. ''I've had to wait quite a long time.''

Miranda's extra-time goal completed Atletico Madrid's dramatic 2-1 comeback win against Real Madrid to win the Copa del Rey on Friday, with Cristiano Ronaldo and coach Jose Mourinho being sent off for the losing team.
Ronaldo headed Madrid in front in the 14th minute, but Radamel Falcao set up Diego Costa to level for Atletico in the 35th.
After Madrid had gone close by hitting the goal frame three times, Atletico claimed its first win over Madrid in 14 years when Brazilian defender Miranda headed in Jorge ''Koke'' Resurrecion's cross in the eighth minute of extra time. It was Atletico's 10th Copa del Rey title and first since 1996.
Mourinho was sent off for protesting in the 76th. Likely heading back to England in the offseason, he is set to finish his last campaign in Madrid without a title.
Ronaldo received a straight red card for kicking Atletico captain Gabi Fernandez in the face in the 114th, setting off a sideline scuffle between the benches.
''This is for our fans that have suffered for 14 years,'' Gabi said moments before he received the trophy from Spain's King Juan Carlos. ''I think this team worked hard for this and deserved it.''

Atletico also ended the match with 10 men when Gabi was sent off seconds before the final whistle for a second yellow card.
Following years of frustration and accumulated doubt after failing to beat Madrid in 25 games since 1999, Atletico had to overcome an opening goal by Ronaldo.
Ronaldo, who scored an extra-time winner to beat Barcelona and give Madrid the 2011 title, looked set to play the starring role once again. But the Portugal forward let the tension of the game's final minutes get the best of him, hurting his side when he left it a man down just when it most needed his help.
Mourinho spent the game in the dugout after being jeered before the match at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium by both sets of fans, with the home supporters upset at his treatment of goalkeeper Iker Casillas and supposed desire to leave.
When he did emerge, he didn't last long as the referee dismissed him for vehemently protesting a foul.
