hello movie fans. yes we are all about the movies here. we all love movie for various reasons. the truth is that they are a vital part of our social and cultural fabric. they can shape our ideas, ideals, and even our lives from time to time. movies can give us a sense of purpose. they can educate us, refine us, define us, and even inspire us to great heights.

moves also tend to speak a universal language. the whole world enjoys a good movie. and we have no problem enjoying movies about worlds and cultures vastly different from those that we are most familiar with.

this will be the place for us to share/exchange ideas about movies. here you can rate your last movie which can then serve as a guide for the next person who is thinking about watching it.

you will also be able to talk about your favorite movies and even those that are in production.

my last one was "expendables". dont know why i decided to have a look at it.

anyway a friend made me a copy and asked me to check it out. i just finished watching litte bit of it.

lets get one thing straight right away: stallone is useless as an actor and he is even more useless as a movie director. that is just my opinion.

only movie that he did that was any good--as far as i am concerned--was the very first rambo movie. he did not have to talk much in that movie.

i also saw "taken" recently. i thought it was excellent. liam neeson is a great actor.

Hi all! Great thread idea. Now if only general hercules images would show up... they all say image you are requesting does not exist or is no longer available.

One of the last movies I watched in a theater was Expendables 2. If you are looking for a great movie, don't bother. If you are looking to have a few laughs and see some predictable shoot-em-ups, go ahead. The Chuck Norris bits were funny but expected. I won't buy the DVD...

Hey CD, try using imageshack, it seems to be very stable, I still have the pictures I uploaded years ago.

Hey CD, in addition to rating movies, can we also post trailers and scenes from movies like we post music in the music section? It would make the thread more exciting.

I was thinking about what movie to share with you here on tennis4you and the first movie that came to mind is this Danish black comedy in which a good christian guy stops a bank robber with a racket

and then decides to rob a bank because he thinks the robber wanted the money for artificial insemination in order for his wife and himself to be able to have kids and he decides to rob a bank to give back the money to the robber and his wife and free the robber from prison. Very funny movie with unforgettable characters like Harald the aggressive criminal and Vuk the Serbian immigrant. Here it is:

hola generals. i am able to see all the images and the trailers at the moment.

general nekromanta i will check out imageshack. photbucket continues to give me problems.

great idea general nekromata: trailers, movies posters, and anything that has to do with the movies works here.

i thjnk rating the movies on a scale of 1-10 is going to work. it will give the others some pretty good idea about the movie. movies reviews are popular except here we will be the movie critics.

what up general. those images seem to be showing up now on my end but i will have to look at imageshack as geneal nekromanta has suggested.

i wont bother watching expendables--1 or 2. i watched a few minutes of the first one and quickly shut it down.

Like masterclass, I see only black rectangles saying "the image you are requesting does not exist or is no longer available. imgur.com" maybe like in the case of some youtube vids, you can't see them in some countries. If you can see the pictures I wouldn't worry about it, probably the American users can see them too.

i just saw that i used "imgur gallery" for these pics. evidently that does not work too well either.

so daniel day lewis is lincoln in a new lincoln movie.

i might see that one. i have never seen any lincoln movies before. this one could be a chance a learn about the lincoln presidency.
