Check this out. A very simple song from The Gathering from the times before they went prog. They're one of the fav bands of Trey Azagthoth too

I posted hundreds of times in "What are you listening to now?", but also posted a few in that thread including one from the Gathering in 2011 I believe. Here is one of my favorites. I will go and read this thread from the start to get a gist of what genres other people are currently listening to (yours seem all over the place like mine

); my Musical Tastes run the Spectrum of just about every Genre and Country.

I think I never posted in the prog music thread. I listen to and play some prog rock/metal but it's not my thing. About my musical taste: I'm with Trey Azagthoth, I like music which comes naturally, with feeling and groove and swing. When it comes to progression I prefer it in the form of exotic or custom scales integrated into the music, but it ain't worth s**t if the natural talent and the natural flow isn't there. In addition, I like to listen to all kinds of oldies, even very cheesy stuff like Goombay Dance Band, I don't care how "uncool" it is as long as it works for me

1. The Bee Gees (loved Barry Gibb growing up)

You have great taste in music Machael, I also like Bjork and alternative/indie music in general. About Radiohead it is hard for me to chose one album, but if it has to be one than its "In Rainbows"
