do you remember that he took both singles and doubles in chennai a few years back.or am i mistaken. i know he took down stefan koubek in 2007 for his singles title. he may have taken the doubles title there as well that year.
 
wawrinka ran over him in the finals in chennai in 2011. so the x man tends to do ok there.

It was indeed 2007 where he began the year great. He not only won Chennai Double (singles+doubles) (beating Nadal on the way to his title) but also won Delray Beach Double in February.

i used to curse on the court too but that was when i first started. once i smashed a really expensive racquet against the net post.
 
that changed very quicky. i found out that i played far better and made a much more deadly impression on my opponents if i was cool as ice.
