Hello and Happy New Year for 2013 everyone!  I just returned from a lengthy holiday stay with some relatives and it's good to be back.

I hope everyone enjoyed a safe and happy holiday season!

The 2013 tennis season is underway in many of the smaller preparatory tournaments before the Australian Open.

I'll be commenting on some of the posts during the last few weeks as I catch up on things and give you my perspective on what I see happening in the world of tennis. 

Kudos to all for getting another 2 volumes in the Castle lore. I see some good ideas here and in other threads in the chat section.  You are helping this wonderful forum generously provided for us by Mr. Scott Baker grow in a pretty healthy way and that is great news!  It's everyone's Castle and it's appreciated that you all contribute to its success when you have a chance to stop by!

Left? No way...  :)  Just a forced break during the holiday season...  Unfortunately it was not quite as nice as it could have been. Something going around had us all sick at one time or another during our holiday travels, especially the kids, and it was tough to get them any kind of treatment other than paracetamol.    But we went immediately to our doctor on our return today and got some good medicines that will hopefully take care of the illnesses.

And also to you and your family General Hercules, a very Happy Christmas and Happy New Year.  I guess you must have been doing a fair amount of driving during the holidays.   

Also, the same holiday wishes goes to generalito Sir Javier!  Congratulations Javi on your moderator position!
