betteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeena. 10 million hugs and kisses to you old friend.

so glad to see you again after such a long time. how are you doing?  and how is your family?

i never got a chance to tell you this: congrats on the great highlander finally proving that he belongs among the elite of the sport. i am happy for him. perhaps most of all, i am happy for him mom. she wanted so badly for her son to win the big one.

well he won 2 bing ones: the gold medal for his country and a slam for his mom. he has made the sport more interesting. the more heated and intense the competition at the top the better for the sport. it also bring in a lot of new people into our sport.

here is the latest on nadal sports fans. it was pretty easy to tell from nadal`s practice video that general masterclass posted while back that he continues to have knee issues. i dont know why does not end the nightmare by just getting off the hard courts.

he should resumed his practice and his training on clay. clay to hard court adjustment is the easiest in tennis and he could have allowed his kee to recover properly.

Nadal wary about return, realistic about knee

PRINT THIS PAGE   MADRID -- Rafael Nadal is wary about his return to tennis after a seven-month layoff and believes it may be some time before his injured knee is fully healed.

Nadal told Canal Plus television Friday he's "prepared to accept" that his knee "may not respond well at the beginning."

The 26-year-old Spaniard is set to play in Abu Dhabi on Dec. 27. He has considered playing off and on during the first three months of 2013. Nadal says his goal is to be back in top form for Monte Carlo in April.

The match in Abu Dhabi will be his first since he was sidelined with tendinitis in his left knee after a second-round loss to 100th-ranked Lukas Rosol at Wimbledon in June.

he continues to have knee trouble betty. the problem is that he had an indoor hard court installed in mallorca. when he did resume his practice and his hitting, he went right back to that hard court.

unless he starts practicing and playing more on clay and less on hard courts, the knee is only going to get worse. now even after nearly 8 months of rest the knee is not well enough for him to compete at the highest level.

he is going to lose early in  most all of the hard court events anyway now so why not thry to save the damn knee and prolong the career a year or 2 longer. i dont get it. he can fix the knee issue but looks like he rather suffer and end his career in a year or 2.

im agree with u. we know with his kind of body and the work he did he could not play as long as fed but now he could be so smart and play on surfice as clay where he can be still higtlty competitive

agreed. his style of play is very demanding. so that does not help.

and he actually knows that hard courts are hurting his knee. and so does uncle tony.

still he refuses to change a damn thing. even being forced out of the sport for 8 months is not enough to make him change his training.

betty did you know that nole works out on clay all year long to protect his knees and to keep his ground game sharp.

and roger is very smart when it comes to protecting his health and his fitness. he schedules his training and his match play very intelligently.

nadal refuses to learn nothing from nobody.
