I was pretty annoyed this weekend as I thought I had tickets for the Live8 gig at Hyde Park but they fell through at the last minute. I ended up going to a festival on Clapham Common (South London) instead which was excellent. It was only announced on Thursday that there would be no alcohol at Live8! They certainly kept that quiet when 2 million people were trying to win tickets.
London was insane on Saturday. Live8, BLive (where I went), Gay Pride, Wimbledon ladies final and the cricket final on the same day, with a rail strike thrown in for good measure! Fun, fun, fun!
