Sorry you didn't get to see a better contest. Hope you're enjoying the tournament.

I note Cilic is still there. Good!  :)  And he'll play Babblelot's one to watch, Paire tomorrow. Should be a good match.

I'm watching the 3rd set of the Cilic / Paire match, and enjoying it. They both have nice games &  Babblelot - Paire is very easy on the eye. He played a couple of stinging returns on Cilic's serve just now & held his own serve after being down a break point.

It's going with serve at 3-2 to Paire.  BP won the first set 6-4, MC won the second 6-1. 

Oracle 86 - are you watching it?

Well what I saw of this match was certainly worth the time.  Superb all court tennis by both men. I’ve always enjoyed Cilic’s attacking game & his inside out forehand is a thing of beauty. Superb serving too.  But Babbleot – what a revelation it was to see Paire play again. Hs confidence seems to dip at times, but he goes for his shots, moves in to challenge from the net & isn’t afraid of painting the lines.  And an excellent result for him to get through 7-5 in the 3rd set!

As for other things,  Wawrinka is down a set 6-2.

I know what you mean by Paire's dips in his game. I saw him at the USO and he got really pissy -- throwing his towel and water bottle in the first set -- before dismissing Dimitrov.

Yeah, the Cilic-Paire match was great. Hoped Stan could win his match, but it was not to be - his opponent Bedene seems like an up-and-comer. And Berdych's match was a thriller too!

You saw some wonderful tennis, Oracle86.   :)   I hope the semi's & the final will be good too.

What an interesting event this has turned out to be!  Other than Tipsarevic, none of the other three were my predicted semi-finalists!   
Wawrinka out to Bedene, Cilic out to Paire &  Berdych out to  Bautista Agut!!
It will be a Tipsarevic / Bedene,  Paire / Bautista Agut  semfinals.    A Tipsarevic / Paire final seems likely.

The doubles semi-finals are between   Begemann/Emmrich –vs-Ratiwatana/Ratiwatana
&  Klaasen/Monroe –vs- Paire/Wawrinka.
