I remember Calleri for his Davis Cup matches against Ferrero and his win over Hewitt at the US Open. That one handed backhand was on fire that day.

but on my picture he was in his latter stages, he kinda looked chubby.

that picture is Vampiro aka Nicolas Massu  :king: can you believe he is a golden medallist?

I remember watching highlights for Calleri vs. Hewitt. If you want pure ballbashing, look his way. Awesome to watch, really.

I figured you would get it  :)~ Make that 2-time gold medalist! Can you believe he won two 5 set matches in one day?

Here's a more challenging one:

that's right he also won the olympic gold in doubles. the field was not so strong that day, but still.

it's a lefty as far as I can see, here he is playing a slice.

can you give us his nationality?

by now i assume that everybody has heard that nadal is coming back in february:
Report: Nadal to return at Brasil Open in FebruaryTuesday, January 15, 2013/byMatt CroninPrint    Rafael Nadal will return to the ATP tour at the Brasil Open, a clay-court tournament held from February 11-17 in São Paulo, Gazeta Esportiva reports. Organizers of the Sao Paulo tournament announced the entry of the 11-time Grand Slam winner on Tuesday, according to an Associated Press report.

I thought he was doing viña del mar and acapulco? He better skip IW/Miami  :)>>>>       nah, forget about him; he is a buffoon.

I don't know, you tell me  ;-()     are you from the 80s as well or a little bit later?

I know you guys all like Rusty so you must have remembered this match.

there was nothing Rusty could do that day, Calleri backhand just punished him

Tennis Hewitt vs Calleri 2007

holy smokes. massive fire power off that backahand wing.
what the hell did he do. did he het backhand lessons from gaston?

that forehand crosscourt return of death was not too shabby either from augustin.

augustin is taller than i thought. i dont know much about him.

Agustín was 2 years older than Gaston so I doubt it.

that was a great match generalito, his nickname was Gordo which means fatty in spanish.

he was 1.82m (5ft11) and his weight 86kg (190lbs)

he managed to win 2 ATP singles titles though

Que haces Javier!

Skipping IW/Miami would be the most ideal for him.

3 clay tournys in three weeks? We'll see how he holds up, I think that's a little too much.
