so how do you go about imparting more topspin on the ball general huntingyou?

lets take the extreme case. the one of the clay warrior. do you realize why he is able to get 3500 rpms on the average on his forehand.

most of that is from some crazy natural ability. you need fast twitch fiber and you need blazig raquet head speed.

so you must naturally be able to go over the ball like that to a considerable extent if you want to hit a topspin forehand like vilas, muster, borg, or nadal.

so the average player is really doomed unless he too has the natural gifts from the gods.

that said, you can still manage a lot of topspin but you have to practice like mad.

start low and finish high. western grip is a must.

you have to think "going over the ball" all the time. think it and make it happen in the mind and then go hit a million balls against the wall.

cool adidas shirt. i used to be a 100% adidas man when i played except for my racquets. racquets were wilson.

the shirt, shoes, and shorts had to be adidas. i tried sergio tachini but i did not like it.

topspin at Nadal level or even Muster it's only for those who were given the gift.  I actually use  a semi-western for forehand which gives flexibility but I used "full western" on my backhand.......allows me to aim high and hit it with abandon .   All these at the basic level of course.....

you are probably being just humble and modest.

i have a feeling that you are pretty damn good on the court. you have way above average intelligence about the sport. some of that can only come if you actually play or have played at a reasonably high level.

or was that carlos monzon? carlos was a monster fighter (boxer) from argentina long time ago.

i dont know how long ago but i read about him.
