Jerzy is still a one-shot wonder like Rosol.
Then we will fight in the shade.

Anyone awake?

Hewitt - Tipsaravec 6-7, 5-5

Lleyton was serving for the second set.  :(

He looks as if he is tiring and Tipsy is just too good.  :mad1:

Edit: There goes the second set.  :crying:

Yep. He probably blew his one and only chance after being up a double break!

The AO and getting up for work at 5:30EST is not a good match.  But I go thru this every year and miss it when it is over.
I was at this casino minding my own business, and this guy came up to me and said, "You're gonna have to move, you're blocking a fire exit." As though if there was a fire, I wasn't gonna run. If you're flammible and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit.  - Mitch Hedberg

Tipsarevic bt Hewitt 7-6 (4), 7-5, 6-3.

I couldn't stay up to finish watching some of the matches I'd been following, but see that Almagro & Nishikori got through.
Goffin put up a good contest it seems which is more than can be said for Dimitrov. From the yoiunger set, good for Harrison, Devvarman, Janowicz  &  Lacko to get through.  I'm intrigued by Bautista Agut & see he ousted Fognini.  Stepanek is great fun to watch & good for him to get through too.

Poor Hewitt.
Carpe Diem

"  ... and so we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaslessly into the past"

Beautiful quote from The GG, there Euroka, and painfully poignant.  I though LH might get through the first few matches. But no.
