Hello~

It's been a long time since I was last active here. Hope I won't jinx Novak for his success in the past seasons.

Anyways, I finally saved enough $ to catch the Aust Open semis & finals in Melbourne this year. Anyone has had experience gettg autographs in Rod Laver Arena or the training courts? I'll only arrive in the 2nd week of the tournament so gonna miss those 'official autograph' opportunities at autograph island. But I refuse to leave Melbourne without a picture with Novak or at least his signature.

Anyone has any ideas tips on how I can get one? My seat in Rod Laver arena is pretty high up.. not sure if the seats at the top tier are cordoned off to those near the player's exit. Anyone has a clue? Help out a tennis fan here. =D
Outdo the outdone.

Does anyone here seriously think Davy has a chance to win more then 10 games?
Then we will fight in the shade.

Reckon you could be about right on games,it only takes 18 games to win 3 sets.I'd Just like to see the old Davydenko turn up & play some of his better tennis,Roger will win how ever Davydenko plays, fingers crossed he takes a set or 2 but unlikey.

Almagro took the first set 6-4.   Gimeno-Traver broken in the 2nd set NA up 5-1.  This looks increasingly like a 3 setter. Babblelot, your man is on his way to round 3.

Janowicz & Devvarman in a 1st set tiebreak at 8-8. Interesting match this.   JJ losing his rag over a line call.

Edit : Almagro up 2 sets, the second 6-1, with G-T virtually absent.

Devvarman took the TB  12-10.

Sorry to see Baker go down with the injury.  He's had really bad luck with health/injuries.

I'm not looking past Davydenko.... Roger has to concentrate on him and only him.   :))

Today's matches are...well...boring.  No real "drama" so far.   Stan is playing today but I can't see his match. :mad1:

Feliciano looking very uninteresting and uninspired against Stepanek as if perturbed by something. Stepanek serving for match in 3rd set.

It was good to wake up in time to see the second set of Venus vs Cornet. I enjoy watching Venus much more than Serena. She has a style and movement that the other does not have and I'm glad she won. I look forward to the match against Maria S, which will also be a sight for the ageing eyes.
Now for Djokovic vs Harrison. I saw them play a couple of years ago at Cincy when Harrison did little more than huff and puff  :b-day:. Let's hope for some improvement.
