My teachers all completely hate me because I goof around too much. And I'm positive that them hating me makes them give me bad grades. For example, in science I wrote a solid paper, and she gave me a D.... Then since we all got bad grades we had to peer review papers to see which components of the rubric we missed. The chick that was grading my paper found nothing wrong, but for some "unknown" reason, I got a s**t grade... Her paper, however, was missing tons of s**t! What grade did she get? A. The teacher seems to love that girl, and she unfairly gets good grades as a result. So obviously I'm not going to tell my teacher all of this, in fear of making her hate me more. So my question, how do I get my teachers to like me now that I've pissed them off for a semester? And do you think them liking me would better my grades?

i think it is important to be liked and loved. that opens a lot of doors for people.

people are more willing to help you or even bring you along. and life becomes instantly and invariably more fun and more exciting. just take facebook. people constantly talk about how many friends they have. average facebook person has close to 500 friends. the more the better. you learn a lot more from others also so why not have an army of people on your side.

how you go about doing that is a more difficult proposition. especially if it is one`s teachers in school. so we will have to let others weigh in on this.

probably the first step is to make every effort to make sure that your default look, default manners, and default disposition is pleasant and pleasing. never ever let your guard down. do not argue needlessly with your fellow students. resolve to make new friends in schoool every single day. the word gets around quickly in school. teachers will also find out that you are a good person.
take part in various school activities. perhaps there is a student association. try to join it. take part in fund raising activities for your school. do some charity work.

we will let others weigh in and see what they suggest. you just have to invent ways to win the school and the teachers over.
if your teachers like you then they are more likely to give your work additional consideration. they are also a tightly knit group. they will pass it on quickly if they dont like you for whatever reasons.

I'm not saying I have an issue with friends, because I don't. The reason my teachers hate me is actually because I goof off too much with my friends. In today's society it almost seems like if you have no friends, then your teachers like you more. All of the teachers' favorites are troubled socially. And I don't want to wind up troubled socially. My school doesn't even have a student association, so that isn't really an option. But I agree with acting as if I'm a well behaved student in class, then my teachers will like me more. If I act like my goofy self then my teachers hate me  :zipped:

:hysterical: CD, What a bulls**t answer..... :rofl_2:

Listen Freaky, that teacher is a fukin' niemand, what you have to do is get better @ science because that will open the doors for you and not ass kissing.... You own at science -> you will get a good job while that stupid nobody teacher will eat s**t in her retarded school...

I'm not saying I have an issue with friends, because I don't. The reason my teachers hate me is actually because I goof off too much with my friends.

And forget those friends, they will be nowhere in a few years and they'll never earn you money, your science knowledge will earn you the money...

I am good at science. But my teacher determines my grade so no matter how good I am, I'll still get a s**t grade.

And my friends are smart too so it's not like they'll be working at McDonald's... And winding up with no friends would suck balls, right?

both have reason..ass licking can open a lot of door if u have that kind of caracter for do, i have not and despite my degree im still at the same livel hahaha special in political word no ass lick.no career hahahaha
but u have also to learn and study for be very well competitive on the work market

I learn and study, but again, my teachers hate me and give me bad grades.... And no, I don't have the asslicking character  :mad1:

who said anything about ass kissing sports fans.

i am  just saying that you have to win people over. you can be smart and have people like you. you can do both.
that seems to help people go further in life.

and in school it does help to be liked by your teachers.

my grades were not good in high school because all i wanted to do was play sports. school did not interest me at that time. i did make sure that i was liked. now i did that by doing well in soccer, basketball, track and field, and chess.

for some reason i got into chess in high school. soon i was  the high school chess champion and nobody could beat me. a couple of teachers wanted me to teach them. i thought that was a good opportunity to show that i am helpful.

has anybody read norman vincent peal`s book titled "winning friends and influencing people" or something to that effect. i read it a long ago.

if i recall correctly, his basic premise was this: if you want to make friends and influence people than you have to appeal to their interests.

so i like this girl and i want to increase my chances of getting a date with her then i have to learn a little bit about what she likes and dislikes.

norman vincent peale did say that it was "manipulative" but that is what you have to do. he did not call that ass kissing.

do you want a date or do you want to sit at home and jack off?

millions and millions read that book and went about making more friends. they increased their chancs of going further in life. they also did better at work. they were more productive and more satisfied with their work.
why? because their bosses liked them and their coworkers liked them.

The most famous injunction form the book is to always be "hearty in your approbation and lavish in your praise." Carnegie contends that we gain more influence and regard by praising and encouraging than criticising and fault-finding.

But he always stresses that any such praise should be based in genuine feeling, because "Flattery is counterfeit, and like counterfeit money, it will eventually get you into trouble if you try to pass it on."

And from all the accusations of cynical manipulation of the feelings of others, I feel I must defend Carnegie.

What he is really encouraging is that we should all take a genuine interest in the stories and ideas of others.

He is talking about the cultivation of a more open mind, and championing the art of interested listening.

Yes, he says that such an interest in others will bring with it social rewards, but it may also bring about an improvement in character and learning in the practitioner.

In many ways it is a more conversational, and more detailed, examination of the hierarchical structures in which we all live, the systems of power that had been mapped out more conventionally (and less interestingly) in the etiquette books of the 19th century. Carnegie, a smart man of humble birth, had worked out that a species of power lay in acknowledging and feeding the power fantasies of others. Indeed, the whole book could be read as a Foucauldian exercise in rallying opower to the cause of one's own social advancement.
Carnegie was a gifted and charming writer, and even now the book is a very easy read, filled with nuggets of folk wisdom and constant references to the life lessons to be gleaned from notable figures in history.

15 million people have read How To Win Friends.. since its release, and it is almost certainly the most influential self-help book ever published.

np, what I'm trying to say is forget those friends they're a waste of time and ignore the teacher she's a nobody and focus on hard work... ass licking is for retarded plebeians

the connection is that yr teacher is frustated one coz she was not as good enought for find another kind of work..more cool

u meant it nekro? :)~
well, not exactly but that's a good point  :thumbs up: Basically I'm just trying convince Freaky that he should ignore the people and focus on work...

But the teacher decides my grade, so I can't "just ignore her"

look i learned the hard way. i studied martial arts and worked out like a mad man. i wanted to beat up people just for the hell of it. and i did beat up a lot of people early on in high school.

i still want to beat the hell out of anybody that so much as even looks at me in a way that displeases me but that is not how we can make progress in life.

people wont like and you will get fired from every job. and that is if you get hired in the first place. you will also do poorly in relationships. girls will start to run from you.

knowing your stuff is important. getting along with people is even more important.

its the way of the world. at some point you have to try to conform for the sake of a better life.
