Well, it was a bit windy last night. If it gets really wind we know from the USO that Andy is better than Nole in the wind. Otherwise, I still like Nole. But Roger is right there, too. I'll pick Nole but wouldn't bet on any of them.

Both players look razor sharp.
I was stunned at how well Andy (not Roddick) served against Fed.
It was awesome!
Looking forward to an entertaining match.
CONK da ball!!!

Aside from his excellent serving, Murray's demeanor was nearly perfect.
Confident and willing to win or lose on his own terms.
Very nice to see.
Thank goodness someone besides Nole has risen to fill the void left by the Chronically Injured One and The Old Man.
CONK da ball!!!

i'm in the lucky position of really liking both players, but while my heart wants Andy my head says Djoko.
But either way it's great to that we have the de facto best players in the world, superb.
For me tennis doesn't get better.
whoever wins i'll be happy, and sad for the loser.

Novak Djokovic is the winner!  He played the better tennis!  2nd Consecutive and 4th Australian Open.

N.Djokovic [1]    6    7   6   6

A.Murray [3]      7    6   3   2

Good to see you, monster! :toot:

As for this rivalry. Spare me... I like to watch them both individually, but I'm freakin' bored of their matches. By the looks of things, that sentiment may be widespread.

Babs, you are better off watching some clueless women, trying to play tennis, and screaming/grunting, whatever  :rofl_2:. That is so interesting and you will NOT get bored .

Wassup B?!
Of the top 4 I like watching Andy (not Roddick) the best.
Now that he's serving better, perhaps I'll watch a bit more of him.
What wid my ADD & all  :insane:, I can't watch more than 15 minutes at a whack anywhoooo.

He's also hitting his forehand with confidence. It's almost bag worthy :paper bag: that he got to #4 rolling over the FH with a tucked elbow like me.

Thanks Sid, unfortunately Alex won nothing  :). those two buggers took home almost $4 millions combined. just scary. Not sure about RG, if Rafa is fit he is the one to beat, then Nole. as for grass I think that Andy does have a slight edge but it's hard to say. Nole did win W, so we'll see. Fed is still alive  :)).

and don't forget about the GOAT Tomic  :rofl_2:.
