Hey General Hercules.  I slept better last night getting 5 hours solid sleep for the first time in weeks.  Thanks for asking.  I'm on some new medicine that I'm using with an inhalation machine, and it seems like it may be reducing the frequency of the coughing enough to let me sleep.

By the way, here is the article associated with the previous video where he hopes that his knees will hold up for the South American swing:

http://www.tennis-x.com/xblog/2013-01-29/11471.php

I just don't know what to make of it.  8 months off and the knees hampering his movement?  And as you said, he just had to get back on his hard court.  I don't know what to say.

Respectfully,
masterclass

so now they all know which we knew already. it was not the stomach virus that kept him out of melbourne.

the blundering buffoon fukkked up his knee some more since he could not help himself he had to get back on those hard courts.

like general nikos says, he still cant figure out that playing some on clay is better than not playing at all.

he killed his own career while in his damn prime.

Same old, same old, generalito Herculito.Hola John.
Maybe Rafa should play clay only? It's better than not playing at all.

Hola Nikos and Dylan.  I hope you are well.
Yeah, sticking to clay as much as possible seems the better part of valor at this point if he wants a chance at RG this year.

Respectfully,
masterclass

Cocteau Twins fall into that "dream pop" category. You can't ever understand the lyrics but it's more about the music and mood.

Hi all. Just a short update from me before bed...and not so pleasant, sorry.

Rafael Nadal gave some interview today and said his knee is still bothering him... :crying:

"La rodilla me sigue molestando. El dolor que siento no me deja hacer ciertos movimientos. Espero que desaparezca".

I think this translates to:

The knee is bothering me.  The pain I feel does not permit me to make certain movements.  I hope it will disappear.

Respectfully,

A pity...I read earlier he was hoping to play without the pain that has been bothering him for years when he finally came back. I guess that won't happen. Still, noone better to play through pain so no reason to count him out.

General Samson, do you really expect a 1st round loss? Can't see that myself. If he decides he's well enough to play, I expect him to win. Could conceivably lose the doubles match, though.

Not at all? Does it bother you or it is just irrelevant background noise?
